A cheaply made toy
- Pros: This is a plastic Violin, which is lightweight I suppose. It plugs in and produces sound when played.
- Cons: This is not even a beginner violin, it is a child violin. I cannot express how unfortunate it was that no reviews existed when I bought it. It sounds tinny, it's hard to tune and set the bridge because the strings are extremely cheap. It is simply not an instrument for anyone that is serious about learning or playing it. I won't just rant about it, but it is cheap and of ill quality. I recommend it for children that want to learn, because their taste in musical tone isn't fully developed.
- Other Thoughts: I am off to invest more money into a quality product! :D

- Pros: Beautifully rich and velvety low tones come out of this finely crafted horn. Upper register notes sound clear and are easy to lock in to. High notes stay rich and clean insted of bright and crisp like a trumpet. Just an overall wonderful tone and range. Action on the valves are quick and responsive.
- Cons: 3 spit valves insted of 2 makes for a bit more clearing.
3rd valve slide trigger is a bit stiff.

This is YOUR light!
- Pros: 20 feet spot lot, slow fades all kinds of colors brilliant lighting amazing - finally found the uplight I've been looking for. DMX controller board not required to make this thing slow fade. Using this on an Aluminum Christmas tree this year. NO HEAT from this light. Safe, very cool!
- Cons: Santa won't fit down my chimney?

A great value for a new, or old student!
- Pros: This unique instrument carries a beautiful voice for a student cello. The black body contrasted with a white bridge is a definite eye-catcher, and the removable rubber stopper on the peg removes the need to purchase a cello stop.
There is no wolf note, commonly associated with student cellos, providing a wonderful, steady base to get started playing. - Cons: The bridge that was shipped is too high, creating too much of a gap in the action. Easily remedied through a $20 modification, or your own diligent sanding. This effects play and tone only slightly.
The black is a little too glossy, and smudges easily - requiring frequent cleaning.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: Absolutely NONE!!!!!!!! If I could assign it ZERO stars I would.
- Cons: Where to begin? The middle button fell off. The buttons do not stay lubricated. The pitch is terrible. It is too expensive to send back.
Do not waste your money. Bite the bullet and get a name brand.

As expected
- Pros: Shiny? Smooth values, seems built well
- Cons: Leaked a bit of oil from the valves in shipment - this may be normal, but I haven't seen it before. Brim of horn was slightly bent in transit but not enough to think about sending it back.
- Other Thoughts: For this price this is a 4-star item; it's a cheap French Horn, though, so I have trouble rating it that high given the oil leak.
