Pros: Excellent voice clarity, rugged, and easy to install. We set these phones up for small meetings. The EX version is great for meetings of 25 people when you need extended mics (although, these phones are meant for smaller meetings). The Polycoms are built well and take a day-to-day beating as we move them around the conference center. A bonus is that you can extend the phone power and dial tone (analog) as far as you want because you can use a standard Cat5e cable in place of the 20' cable that comes in the box. We have used a 100' Cat5e to get the phone in weird places before. Excellent product.
Cons: Cost - you get what you pay for and Newegg saves the budget but seriously - the extended mics alone were $100. The value comes with re-selling the speakerphone service but remember that this device has no new technology - it's an analog phone.

Other Thoughts: Our medical practice needed conference room phones that didn't take up a lot of space and could work without wires on the desk. All the quotes that I got from phone companies were extremely expensive. One vendor here in NY called Network Doctor started thinking out of the box and recommended this device. They delivered and installed them very quickly. Network Doctor maintains our network and provides us with support for all the offices in NY and NJ. The cost savings were great and a very appreciated by all the doctors in the practice.

Pros: one of the few Bluetooth headsets that actually fit my ear. great sound quality and connects to device media, not just for calls
Cons: battery life is a bit short, but i guess if you listen to music with it, it is to be expected

Cons: I gave it a 4 egg, as it was not their fault I ordered the wrong part, but it would be nice if it had more detail, mainly including the types of ends on the cord. In this case I needed the cable with the RJ-11 jack, and not the RJ-45 that came with this.
Other Thoughts: In my ignorance, I did not fully research the part number enough to to know that I had ordered the wrong part.
We need this to plug into a Digium D50 phone, but that has an RJ-11 jack for the headset, not an RJ-45 like this part did.
We have since then ordered 26716-01 U10, which has the RJ11 jack... wish us luck

Cons: Poor customer service. Read their return policy VERY CAREFULLY.
Other Thoughts: Ordered Polycom SoundStation2 Direct Connect for Nortel telephone system. Shipment arrived and went to install. Had problems installing so called Polycom technical support. After some time with Polycom, it was determined that the unit apparently was not compatible with a Nortel BCM400 system (which was not immediately apparent o the tech support representative). Requested RMA from Surviellant to return unit. After requesting RMA, received an email asking if the box had been opened. Replied that it had been. Was informed by second email that if I could make it look factory sealed as if it had never been opened, they would take it back, but otherwise, they would not. They stated in their email "It is advertised in our return policy on Newegg that the product must be in the condition of brand new and factory sealed to be allowed for return or it will be denied. We do state the manufacturer part number so the product can be researched by the customer to makes absolutely 110% sure it will work for the application." Responded back that a CD had been opened and there was no way I could make it "factory sealed" condition. In reply, stated I would not purchase from Surviellant again. Later in day, received telephone call from a manager about my email. Manager kept saying he wanted to be helpful, but would not offer to accept return. Less than satisfactory customer service in my opinion and I will never use Surviellant again. If you order from this company, BEWARE and DO NOT OPEN any package unless you are absolutely sure the item will work. In my case, there was no way to know since obviously the manufacturer even had difficulty determining it wouldn't work with our system.

Doesn't work with DTMF conference calls over phone system
Pros: Looks good
Cons: We purchased two units but they do not work with our NEC phone system as the inband DTMF (after the call is active) doesn't get passed through our phone system. We can't key in the conference ID number. Based on web research, we believe the problem is a packet size setting that needs to be changed. No manual came with units. We have called Polycom and they say they can't help us as we did not buy from an authorized reseller. We have called iSave (NewEgg partner who shipped product); they say contact Polycom who doesn't recognize iSave. Trying to solve the problem...
