Pros: Does the job well. With the antenna roof mounted, I pick up many more satellites than before the GPS failed in a mode that caused no satellite reception, with an accuracy as good as 12 feet in a clear location.
Cons: have to deal with the extra cable plugged into the GPS antenna. Also connector is rather delicate. All in all, a good low cost solution which avoided having to purchase a new GPS.
Other Thoughts: TheGarmin Nuvi 350 can have a failure mode which makes it look for an external antenna rather than its internal one. Confirmed by sticking a twist tie in the antenna port being careful not to short the powered port to ground. Use of the external GPS antenna is the best solution and also inproved the GPS sensitivity.

Pros: It got here fast. Newegg deliver is awesome!
Cons: Software does not load after installation. Adapter does not even load up or show in Devices Green light does nothing (no solid green or blinking or ANY indication that it works)
Hard to rate really when the product does not work out of the box.
Other Thoughts: I checked the PCI slot I was using with another network card and the light worked fine and my computer picked up the device right away so to me it is not the slot itself. I re-seated the part thinking it was that, still no response on boot about new hardware. Installation of software works but under specified folder of installation shows nothing even with the desktop shortcut. After finally getting software installed I tried to load up software and it does not load at all, in task manager the program exists and claims its working but still nothing.... So far just ridiculous, 75$ for junk....
