- Pros: Decent tasting coffee
- Cons: The carafe is terrible. Half the coffee makes it into the cup while the other half runs down the front of the carafe onto the countertop. Terrible way to start your day!

Great but problems today
- Pros: When you want good coffee FAST!
Fast brewing, optional fine grind spray head available from website. Used these for years in various versions. Was a big fan, but.....if you can call support and press 1 for a call back (they will call you back!) you will speak to a very helpful employee in the US who will handle the problem properly. - Cons: Leaking on the counter top. Plain cold water, so it's not as bad as it might be. Apparently the gasket isn't up to snuff between the fill and heating tanks.
- Other Thoughts: I think the gasket from the fill tank to the heating tank is leaking after about 22 months (36 month warranty) and leaking out the electric cord opening at the back bottom. About 1-2 ounces per use. Not as big a deal on my counter top but if you have any sort of wood-based / formica type counter keep an eye on it.
SUMMARY: Not perfect but excellent, and Customer Service at BUNN is second to none if you just give them a chance!

- Pros: it worked for two weeks then pushed the on botton would not make any thing the worst every and good luck calling Black&Decker to ship it back it went to the trash

Carafe pours poorly
- Pros: Inexpensive
Fairly nice looking - Cons: Takes up more than average amount of room
Carafe poorly designed
Do not move when you've got water in reservior (or is in process of making coffee)
- Other Thoughts: Okay, may be worth the $20 its on special for but I prefer my B&D smart brew I picked up for $10. I think that brewer goes on special for even less around black friday.
*I also noticed that all the feed back on this item disappeared a while ago. The rating averaged about 3.0-3.5 or so. Suddenly gone w/ only 1 very positive raring left. THAT is greatly discouraging to my view of the newegg rating system. I almost always also look @ online ratings, etc. b4 I buy but still, very discouraging.

Nice Coffee Maker But!!!
- Pros: makes great coffee
- Cons: Customer service worst ever in the industry
- Other Thoughts: I purchaced 2 of these one arrived damaged DeLonghi ask me to cut off the cord (making it unreturnable to Newegg!) and mail it to them, fine I did what they asked they said they would replace it with the same or a better unit! waited 3 weeks making numerous calls to them asking for the status, each time we were giving a differnt answer they even said it was shipped but it was not! when we finaly recived a new unit it was the 10 cup!!!!! this was a downgrade we had a 12 cup! we were assured we would receive a 12 or 14 cup machine, they never called and asked if this was ok! they broke there own warranty rules and for the lack of better words told us accept what we sent you and go away. after all this I checked them out online and they have a F rating on the BBB beware of this company.

Multiple defects
- Pros: Cheap when discounted.
Nice dark finish with bright blue lights.
Hot plate timer feature. - Cons: The carafe spills liquid down the front during pouring while full (over ten cups) no matter how gently one pours.
Even with the carafe properly positioned, the jug sometimes fills with coffee due to the valve not releasing then spills coffee onto the hot plate and over the carafe when it's removed and replaced.
The overflow protection for both the water storage and the jug is a couple of holes out of which liquid will spill if the unit is moved while full.
This unit is no replacement for my decades old Black & Decker and is not worth the heavily discounted price offered recently.
- Other Thoughts: The product is defective in several ways, each of which was described in the many feedback entries for this item when i bought it here. I note that now they have all disappeared, leaving only a single five star entry... on each of the two pages for the "Black & Decker CM1650B Black 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker".

Coffee Pot Blunder.
- Pros: The product works.
- Cons: The product is great. However, it is quite confusing. For example, the "clean" option shows up all the time and we can't find a way to get rid of it. The coffee pot has marks where to place the lid. Those marks are now gone; were not permanent and disappeared after washing the pot twice.

We like this quite a bit
- Pros: Freshly grinds coffee so you get the best possible drip coffee. It does require a tiny bit of extra time to clean after you put it back together than a traditional drip coffee maker. I clean the basket and basket top into the sink after we're done, put the basket but not the basket top back and take off the coffee hopper and clean the chute into the basket. Then put the basket top back on and the coffee hopper back on. I haven't timed this but I would guess it takes about a minute. If you don't keep the chute clean it can clog up and give you weak coffee. Some complain the grind is coarse and requires a lot of coffee per cup, but I haven't noticed any big deal there.
- Cons: A few times the coffee maker has not opened the chute during grinding and the coffee doesn't make it into the basket. You can tell when this happens because the grinder slows down near the end of the grinding process. What I do then is to turn it off, take off the hopper and basket, clean, and replace. This has happened three times in the last year and I'm not exactly sure why. Now, I listen to the grinding and if I hear it is not grinding properly, I turn it off, clean the chute into the basket and reinstall. It appears that on the top of the basket top there is a doohickey that needs to engage the lever to open the chute and this doesn't always happen.
- Other Thoughts: A few finicky operational issues aside, we like this coffee maker and I would buy another if this one died.
