Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Its Rosewill!
Pros: Well...
I have very good experience with Rosewill in general.
From PC stuff like keyboards to kitchen knifes and now bread makers.
This thing makes excellent bread.
And thats why i bought it :)
Plenty of programs from making a cake to hard core thick grain bread. Can be programmed to keep your bread warm and baking postponed so u can have your bread ready and warm in the early morning.
Interior is coated - easy to clean - in fact nothing sticks to it unless yo add to much fluids.
Remember too much east is not good - better too little.
Use long programs for better results.
And most of all it has to make a "ball" so use enough flour to get that ball result for bread - if this thing is too thin - bread will be weird.
Cons: NONE!
Other Thoughts: Takes some practice to make the bread that is perfect.
I noticed less I add - better the taste:)

Categories > Bread Makers > ZOJIRUSHI > Zojirushi BB-PAC20 Home Bakery Virtuoso Breadmaker + 10 Piece Stainless Steel Cups/Spoons Plus Plastic Leveler + Accessory Kit

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Awesome Bread!
Pros: 'Proper' form to the loaves.
Easy to use interface.
Programmable sequences for custom bread or other foods.
Nice appearance.
Very quiet compared to the Cuisinart I used before.
Burner in the lid, makes a proper crust.
With this order, getting the measuring cups and oven mitt were a nice addition which were basically free.
Cons: None to mention, until someone comes out with a new function that blows this one away.
Other Thoughts: Not the breadmaker's fault, but I always have to use vital gluten to get a proper rise- my house is drafty so even though there is some heating going on during the rise cycles it never stays as warm as it should.

Categories > Bread Makers > Panasonic > Panasonic SD-YD250 Automatic Bread Maker with YeastPro yeast dispenser

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Reliable machine, fresh bread
Pros: Reliable.
Consistent.
Multiple settings.
Delay timer.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: We have had this machine for several years and use it apx 3 times per week. This machine has lasted far longer than any previous machine we have used and have never (knock on wood) had to repair any components. We use it for 3 lb breads and frequently just use the dough setting so we can shape it/bake it ourselves.

We make whole wheat bread w varying amounts of whole wheat flour, and, even w 100% whole wheat flour, we can still get a loaf w a respectable rise.

The bread machine has a delay timer for up to 13 hours - so you can set such that the bread will finish 13 hours from when you set it.

When my bread machine finally goes, I will look to replace it w the same model.

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Yummy Bread
Pros: Great machine esspecially for the price. Pan is super non stick, controls are easy to use and everything seems to fit in its locations. Makes some great breads
Cons: The pan shape is a bit strange, not the typical bread shape, its rectangular but the 1.5 lb loaf i typically make is a bit tall, i cant imagine how tall the 2 lb is
Other Thoughts: great to own, just wish the pan was a bit more like a loaf of bread

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 Second one
Pros: This is really a nice bread maker for the price (40 bucks). This is the second one I have gotten because the first one quit working after about a year. I would have rated 5 stars if it wasn't for this, but for the price and the amount it got used it was worth it.
Cons: First one quit working after about a year.
Other Thoughts: Wouldn't pay a lot of money for this, but it is worth it when deal comes along.

Categories > Bread Makers > Rosewill > Rosewill R-BM-01 2 lbs. Programmable Bread Maker

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 not sure if its worth it
Pros: its convenient and an interesting gadget.
Cons: the con is that it is rare to be able to make home made bread with it.

most of the time, you have to buy special mixes for bread machines and these mixes will always have ingredients you should want.
Other Thoughts: i don't make bread with the machine anymore. instead i use a table top roaster (like those used for holidays and turkeys) to make bread, cakes, cup cakes, etc....

Categories > Bread Makers > West Bend > West Bend 41300 Hi-Rise Electric Dual-Blade Breadmaker up to 2.5 lbs

Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3 Collpases the loaf, bad odor
Pros: Looks good in black instead of the usual white bread machines, large variety of different loafs can be made, easy to use menu with customization and it can make large loafs.
Cons: I've been making my own bread using a drill with a batter attachment for over a year and I've never killed the yeast, collapsed a loaf, or wasted a loaf and I've had consistent results making 1-2 loafs per day since June 2011. I got this bread machine to make my life easier but there are many cons. First, it needs to have a stainless steel bread pan, not a coated metal one because it contaminates the bread. Sticking is part of good cooking. The top of the loafs collapse following the recipe in the manual or any other recipe. The bread has a bad odor, probably from the teflon lining of the bread pan or just from the heat heating up the plastic bits of the machine and also changes the taste a bit. Also mine had small surface scratches out of the box on the lid, might have been refurbished and resold as new... :(
Other Thoughts: Marginally okay to use and it should be slightly better once the odor goes away. It could be collapsing the loafs because some of the yeast is killed by the teflon contamination but I have no proof this is happening. Or it could be collapsing the loads simply because the heat is not high enough to reduce moisture in the bread fast enough before the yeast dies.
