Panasonic MC-CG902 Canister Vacuum with HEPA Filter Burgundy

GREAT Vacuum!
- Pros: I did lots of research and found this vacuum rated very highly. I needed a good vacuum with HEPA filter to help with my allergies and this really helped on cleaning days. Our housekeeper liked it so much, she ordered two, one for her and one for the job! I've had it for 2 years and expect it to be around for a long time.
- Cons: Occasionally, the power plug falls out of the retainer when removing the floor head, but this is minor. I would expect a re-design of the retainer in later models if enough complaints were made.
- Other Thoughts: Lightweight and powerful with great edge cleaning. Easy bag changing and HEPA filter accessibility.

EUREKA 3684F Pet Lover Canister Vacuum Purple

Easy to Use
- Pros: This canister vacuum is easy to use, light weight and strong. It is easy to change the bag and the tuck in dust tab prevents getting all the dust you just cleaned up from getting all over you. The Pet Paw works very well; just run it lightly over the upholstery. No need to press down hard. Other attachments store on-board and work well. Easier to use than my old upright. Hook up the hose to the exhaust to use as a blower. HEPA filter comes off to wash and re-use.
- Cons: Wish the Pet Paw could be stored onboard.
- Other Thoughts: Has a rotating ring on the handle of the tube to adjust suction level easily. Great for cleaning drapes and blinds, etc. where you don't want too much suction. Replacement bags fount at Wally> 9 bags for $8.50

LG kompressor vacuum
- Pros: I did a lot of research before buying a new vacuum and im very glad I chose this one. the suction is incredible, it has 2 air filters in it and the brush motor is so strong!
when I vacuumed my bedroom, this thing picked up so much dust, dirt and debris from my carpet, it seemed like I haven't vacuumed in YEARS. it was amazing. - Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: the compressor part in the dustbin is cool! it smushed all the garbage into a neat pile so when you dump it, its easy.

Was Afraid of
- Pros: None
- Cons: That is what I was afraid of that when Dyson started offering worthless average line up of vacuums at $500 , I knew it that every company will try to sell their $50 worth vacuum cleaners at $400-$500 range. I won't buy anything above $150.
- Other Thoughts: Don't buy it so these companies won't rip us off and gouge us for every penny.

Miele Olympus S2121 Vacuum Cleaner with SBD-350-3 Rug and Floor Tool

Amazing Vacuum
- Pros: If you have hardwood or tile and a pet, or living in a sandy area this is the best vacuum I've had. Suction is top notch, very easy to maneuver. Light. The cord retracts into the machine. The vacuum bags are AMAZING. We struggled for months trying to keep our floors clean between 3 children, 2 adults and a dog in an area which sand tracks easily and the dog sheds significantly.
- Cons: Other than the bags being pricier than normal bags I have not found anything I dislike about this vacuum and we've probably had it for 6 months now.
- Other Thoughts: I wish I wouldn't have waited 3 months before finally caving to purchase it. I was afraid that it would not be what I wanted since nothing else had been. It is a great $300 investment. There are youtube videos showing you how to care for it. Miele seems to be a very good brand. I also bought this from Newegg.

EUREKA 71B Easy Clean Hand Vacuum Yellow

So far so good
- Pros: I looked around a lot for a good stair/couch hand vac before buying this. Very happy with the results. Works very good on stairs, and does a fine job on furniture too. I've got three cats (two long haired Persians), and this vac handles their hair in a swipe or two at most. Nice suction for such a small tool, and I vastly prefer having a cord to racing the clock with a battery charge. The flip/cover is a great idea for doing both the horizontal and vertical parts of stairs.
- Cons: Doing my full flight of stairs puts a minor strain on the wrists. I can live with that though. It works so much faster and better than the tools on my normal floor vac, I consider it a small price to pay.
- Other Thoughts: Presuming it holds up over time, this was exactly what I was looking for in a stair vacuum. The fact that it also does a good job on the furniture is just a great bonus.

EUREKA 940A Canisters Vacuum Purple

Poor suction,
- Pros: Looks very nice
- Cons: Very poor suction. The hose attachment leaks air during normal vaccuming further reducing the suction. Plastic clips inside holding the filter/container look/feel unsecure and pretty easy to break off. It has trouble picking up dirt from hardwood floors. Non-powered carpet head very ineffective

Miele Olympus S2121 Vacuum Cleaner with SBD-350-3 Rug and Floor Tool

Amazing!
- Pros: - Amazing power
- Super lightweight - Quiet! - Maneuverable - Cons: NONE
- Other Thoughts: So amazing. I was skeptical about a 300$ vacuum but after research and being sick of the cheap 100-150 range vacuums I've owned I decided to go for it, and I am not disappointed!
Sad to admit, but I don't think our apartment had been vacuumed in about a year. Our old cheaper vacuum broke and we never got around to replacing it. It was a "lighter" Hoover model that did ok but as they always do the motor finally burned out or whatever and it completely lost suction. Well I got this today and I did the whole apartment today (2 floors) and I can honestly say I don't think it's ever been cleaner. The thing is super lightweight, but I think once I was done it weighed twice what it did before! YUCK!
I did both floors and our stairs (VERY easy to use on the stairs!) I kept expecting it to lose suction but it never did. And because of how quiet it is (not silent by any means but certainly not ear-straining), because of this I kept thinking "Oh it must not be working well" or "I bet it can't pick that up" but it never failed.
If I had ONE bad thing to say it's that the roller head is a LITTLE hard to push on our low-pile carpet (it only has two small wheels on the back of the base. the front end drags a bit) but it's so not a big deal for how well this thing works.
Some notes: - Designed more for apartments, or houses with hardwood/low-pile carpets. The brush head does NOT have a roller (honestly a plus in my book because I hate cleaning those things). - It uses type G/N bags. They say a bag will last about a month. I bought a 4 pack refill for $18 so I don't think that's a bad deal. I did the WHOLE place today (and it was BAD!!) and I don't think the bag is anywhere close to full yet.
It does come with the brush head and 3 attachments: small dust brush, upholstery, and the crevice nozzle thing. They even have a handy rack that attaches to the canister to hold them.
Overall this was totally worth the money.
