Awesome Vacuum
- Pros: I gave a review on the NV36E, I bought that one for my Parents, This is the one we have and this has been the best vacuum we have ever used, Next to the Filter Queen, ( Filter Queens run around $18-$2,000)
but MUCH cheeper. - Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Like i mentioned in my other review, i have used the Filter Queen, use to sell it, i have used Kirby's, Rainbows, Tri-Star, Hoover's, Dyson's I seen this at the store and bought it, My wife loves this, Best purchase on a vacuum we ever made, if you try one, you'll end up buying it also, cleans deep down in the carpet that our other vacuums didn't get.

Best Vacuum youll ever use
- Pros: I've used alot of vacuum, this one has to be one of the best for the money. Yes, you can buy cheeper, but thats what your getting, you can buy more expansive, but i have tried those to, this one in my opinion is better or just as good as the Dyson. I bought one, NOT HERE, and my wife loves it, GREAT investment. try one yourself, You wont be disappointed.
- Cons: None that i have fount as of yet.
- Other Thoughts: I use to sell the Filter Queen vacuum. that is the top rated vacuum you can buy. BUT its also around $2,000. I have tried the Tri-Star, the Kerby, (great motor, but they clean no better then a cheep vacuum) when kirby gives a demo, they use no bag. bags clog. parents had a Rainbow, and i know a friends that have the Dyson. there cheaply made and have problems. I heard about the Shark, tried one, and bought it, Next to a Filter Queen, this has been the best vacuum we have ever had.

BISSELL 95P1 CleanView Helix Bagless Upright Vacuum

Superior product
- Pros: Cost, Suction, Adjustable brush height, powerful, attachments
- Cons: collection bin not airtight. Cord management
- Other Thoughts: I bought this vacuum at after seeing this vacuum at Lowe's Home Improvement, and reading last years consumer reports test of leading vacuum brands. The Bissel Cleanview Helix scored higher in the overall category than vacuums costing 5 times as much, including the Dyson animal, dyson dc33 multifloor, and both Rainbow, and kirby vacuums.
This vacuum is powerful, lightweight, and most importantly, is a steal when compared with other vacuums performance versus cost.
I have only a few complaints about this model and have used it extensively in the past few months that I have owned it. The first complaint is the lack of an auto cord retractor. Including that feature on this model and charging a bit more would have made it almost flawless. The second complaint, and its really a personal opinion type of thing, is that the collection bin doesn't seal airtight against the upper lip of the vacuum's body when the locking lever is fully engaged. I would have prefered some type of gasket material to make the seam as airtight as possible to prevent any leakage whatsoever. So far, I have seen no issue with dust and debris escaping, but I can only assume that after a few hundred rotations of the locking lever, the tightness will have degraded. Again, this is sheer speculation at this point, but again for another 10 USD on the cost both a cord reel and gasket could have been added to this model and it still would beat the socks off it's nearest competitors.
I would highly recommend Bissel Helix vacuums to anyone looking for a great upright bagless vacuum.

I was skeptical
- Pros: Powerful
Well built Sturdy accessories Easy to use My wife got this as a birthday gift from my sister. My sister had tried to talk me into this brand about 2 years ago but I bought the usual upright from Newegg, Eureka basic bag less. I checked the shark at a local retailer and was unimpressed. Small head and cheap feeling plastic made me positive the motor and design would be a disappointment. After putting the shark together (5 min, no tools) I used it for the first time. This model is not a cheap product. It has excellent power, is very quiet and moves very well across all surfaces. It goes from carpet to bare floor with the press of a button, turning off power brush. Hose is heavy duty and plenty long, same with power cord. Dust cup comes off easy and empties easy. This model also turns into a canister AND a lift away that can be easily be carried around. My mind has been changed about shark, at least this model is an excellent vacuum. Love the LED headlights and the belt less design. Unit also has really good filtration system. Air in house smells better after we vacuum. Don't hesitate to buy this model. Take a chance on this model and you'll be happy you did. - Cons: A bit heavily weighted towards the back. Hasn't tipped, but seems close when using the hose as an upright.
- Other Thoughts: Really pleased with this vacuum. I've always vacuumed and have used all the models we've owned over the last 25 years. We have always purchased mid end uprights from Hoover and Eureka. Have replaced every vacuum about every 3 to 4 years. Seems to the product life span of 100-200$ units. I believe this model will be with us longer. Even 22 year old son likes to use this vacuum. Great little unit that just works very well..

Dyson DC25 Multi Floor Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson DC25
- Pros: I was very surprised how well it was boxed up, very secure and sturdy in the box, no worries of damage in the box. Opened it up and it looked as if it was brand new, the cleat container was the only thing that looked a little scuffed but that's not a worry because the first time you vacuum it would look like that anyway. Plugged it in fired it up and was immediately happy with outcome. Don't be afraid to get a refurbished unit!!!!!! You won't be disappointed.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Like I said earlier, don't be afraid to save money and buy refurbished you will be very happy.

Shark NV22L Navigator Upright Vacuum

This vacuum is a winner!
- Pros: This vacuum is awesome!! Light, bagless, keep running it over and it will keep pulling material out of the carpet. Its like a Kirby but 10 percent of the cost and 10 percent of the weight.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: For value you cannot beat it. Bags in other cleaners will nickle and dime you the life of the machine, this has none. No belt, and the my last cleaner broke handle release, this has none. Just tap the head with your foot to release it.
7 year warranty but you wont need it. Engineered well out of cheap materials.

EUREKA 4717AVZ LightForce 300 Upright Vacuum, Black

Eureka lightforce 300?
- Pros: None
- Cons: Terrible engineering and quality control. Very bad suction and that applies to the included extendable tools. The VERY cheap and VERY thin plastic will crack easy when screwing into the preformed plastic. The excessive exhaust makes you chase what your trying to vacuum. Had to actually bend over to pic up alot of what it wouldn't. Also the feather duster is a joke. Useless.
- Other Thoughts: My story. I'm a small business owner and this was the 1st upgrade of anything at my store since the economy crashed. I managed to save a few bucks each day for a month to buy this as a replacement for an 8yr old 20 dollar SWEEPER hoping i could save a few dollars on labor when my employees do the floor each morning. No kidding the old 20 dollar sweeper does a much better job in less time. There is no logic at work with this vacuum. The motor runs, there are no leaks in the seals yet there is almost no suction. I cant afford the time and money it would cost to break it down, repack it,send it back. I should have bought from a store so i could take it back without suffering a major loss. Very expensive lesson learned. Don't buy this Vacuum.
