Pros: Comes in a nice sealed plastic package -you know, the one you need scissors to cut open, and when you do, there is no doubt it has been removed from the package.
Cons: No Comment -see "Other Thoughts"
Other Thoughts: The item looks good, and I'm sure it can get the job done, but you might be better off trying to get it either direct from Newegg, or another vendor. I purchased this through a vendor Newegg has listed and the service was terrible. I can't take it out on this device, but from the looks of it, it seems more than capable of getting the job done, although the price seems higher than it should be.

Pros: Weller makes quality. For the price, this is the best you can get. Temperature doesn't fluctuate much.
Cons: The details state "Includes 4 free wire solder (2661-2903)" If this sounds too good to be true for the price, it's because it isn't true. It doesn't include ANY free solder. It comes in a blister pack with no room for extras.
If it wasn't for this misrepresentation, I would give it five stars.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you heat it up completely before you use it, and never rapid-cool it, and it should last for months of daily use or years of sporadic use. This is good. The cord is somewhat short, but if you have an outlet on your workbench, this should be no issue.

Cons: This must be the worst product weller has ever made!!! I have two other weller soldering irons- a low wattage pencil for circuit board work and a 200W gun I use for automotive So I expected it to perform up to the same standard Boy was I mistaken...
Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor Spend a few extra bucks to get something decent
