Pros: lithium battery powered; very portable; variable speed; same battery as other Hitachi portable tools.
Cons: battery can run down or not be fully charged when needed
Other Thoughts: This won't entirely replace my corded mini-grinders, but for smaller jobs or when you don't want to mess with long extension cords outside the house, this tool is great. Additionally, since I also have several other portable tools that use the same battery & charger, this mini-grinder was a no-brainer.

Pros: Just got it in. Shipped in alot of packing. Cleaned all parts before assembling. Instructions are pretty much straight forward. Had 10 lbs of pork roast. Ran that trrough the machine,at half speed, with no problem. No bogging down or stalls. Looked just like ground meat you get at the store. This is great. Should save alot of money on cheaper cuts of meat turning them into hamburger. Was not hard dissassembling and cleaning. Motor base has built-in storage compartments for the extra dies and power cord. Seems well designed and well built.
Cons: Can't find the sausage stuffer that the instructions say came with it. That is the only thing missing. Top meat tray sets a little loose. Could use a locking screw on tray connection point.
Other Thoughts: I worked for awhile in a meat processing plant. This puts out as good as quallity cut as the big indutrial machines. Now I need a place to store it.. Assembled it is about 24" L X 10"W X 18" H. As well as this is made ...I hope it was made in USA.

This reviewer reports that his/her technical understanding of this type of product is Somewhat High and has owned this product less than 1 day.
Pros: Low cost Lighter weight Doesn't slide when I grind meat Better than a mechanical grinder
Cons: Slow grinding Meat gets too mushy sometimes It gets clogged sometimes and u have to take the meat out and start over(connective tissue gets tied up to blad or its easy to assemble wrong) results in wasted meat You have to cut meat up into little cubes for it to grind, no long pieces allowed. The outer layer of the metal sheds when u put it in the dishwasher or soak it in soap water. The metal left a brown stain in my sink when it was left wet overnight.
Other Thoughts: Please spend more money on a nicer Grinder that doesnt cause you to waste meat, doesnt clog or get caught. DONT BE CHEAP LIKE ME.

Other Thoughts: Packaging was pretty messed up like it said in the description. But as far as I can tell the tool is perfect. I've used it a couple of times now and had no trouble. Now I just need a bigger compressor! :)
