Sweet Spot

Pros: 10 lb Mono equivalent. Ideal for spinning reels yet can be used on most bait cast reels. Best price to length ratio available at any strength.

Cons: Unforgiving. When you hang up this line you will either straighten out your hook or you will pull up whatever you are hung up on. This can be hard on the equipment. You will need braid scissors to work the line properly. Fingernail clippers just won't work. Will cut into spooled line on some bait cast reels.

Other Thoughts: When trying to free a hung lure, wrapping ones hand in this line, as many have done with mono, can be a costly mistake. The flesh will simply fail before the line will. Think of a 1/4 to 1/3 inch deep paper cut.
I goes without saying that you should have scissors but you might also consider keeping some super glue in your first aid pack. Works well in closing such cuts.
