Pros: maybe it was my truck that was the issue - that's reason for 3 eggs - 2010 f150 fx4 with a non Nav sony system.... seemed easy to install - color to color and plugged right in...
Cons: sync was not working as PAC claimed, intructions were basic if anything and the addition of the PAC steering wheel adapter made things more confusing.....i gave up and went to a pro.....told not the 1st PAC they replaced with Maestro units..... double and triple check if you DYI.

Pros: Worked great while it lasted. Only lasted 9 months.
Cons: I had high hopes for this product but it is not made to last. I used it for 9 months, then get a loud humming noise from it and no audio would play through it. Checked for the following: blown fuse: No, Connection issue: No. When iSimple refused to take it back, I took it apart to see how cheaply it was really made. The fabric heat shield around the main resistor was completely scorched (can you say fire hazard?). I tapped into the same 12V power supply that charges cell phones OK in the car, so it is not a voltage issue. Nothing else in the car had changed since it was installed, except it is lighter now that this piece of junk is removed. I would stay away from this product unless you want to take your dash apart again and replace down the road.
Other Thoughts: Stay away from this product unless you want headaches later down the road when it fails.

Pros: Plugs right into the factory radio so you can add a amp/sub to factory radio.
Cons: Not really a con but I do notice that the louder I play the factory radio, the less power you get from the sub.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for my 2012 F150 with a horrible sound system. This was exactly what I was looking for to add a small amp/sub without having to find a way to replace the factory radio. Perfect!
