Pros: It was a great price and was very nice having both IDE and SATA in one device ..
Cons: Got the unit a couple of weeks ago and got to try it the other day .. plugged in a sata drive no trouble at all , showed up in my computer with no trouble .. plugged in a working ide and nothing .. would not spin up or anything .. so thought maybe something wrong with the drive .. got another drive right out of a customers computer plugged it in , it spinned up and still nothing on the computer ..
Put in a RMA request to get another unit .. havent heard anything back from the company in over a week. the last email they sent me maid no sense what so ever .. So would be warry about buying from there again ..
Other Thoughts: Would have been a great device had both parts of it worked right .. will look from something else just from a different vendor .. and something that looks better built ..

Pros: Almost anything plugs into it, and it reads everything almost without problem. Had a bunch of old IDE drives from past computers that I've been accumulating data on, this has let me turn them into detachable deep storage drives.
Cons: Has some issues with hot swapping IDE drives, they don't always seem to be recognized. Generally rebooting the machine with the drive still connected will cause it to be recognized when windows comes back up. Not sure if software or user issue, but with some drives they lock right in and get recognized no problem, others not so much.
Other Thoughts: Only thing I think they could improve on is the connection for the drives, they feel a bit stiff and I'm always afraid something is going to break when I connect one.

Pros: The wristband connects you to whatever you connect the clip to, just like the description says. As an added bonus, the cable disconnects at the wristband and also at the alligator clip, allowing you to easily step away from what your working on without taking the band off constantly
Cons: (Please read other thoughts after this) The only thing keeping this from 5 eggs is that the electric connection from one end of the cable to the other is slightly weak. I tested the voltage myself by sending 9 volts through the cable, and seeing how much came out the other end. It dropped to about 5 volts, which means whatever is in the cable is the worst conductor i've ever seen.
Other Thoughts: Even though the connection through the cable is bad, that doesn't mean it doesn't connect you to what your working on. If your wearing this and its connected to your computer case, you won't cause ESD to the parts inside, as long as they are not receiving power. If your worried about ESD like I was, then this will work.

Cons: USB cable broke apart after 1 day. (easily replaced however). USB cable and power cable are both poorly fitting and unplug randomly and easily. Biggest disappointment is that the IDE dock port does not work. Only reason I purchased this.

Cons: Little, may as well be no documentation. Comes with small disk for drivers all named with non descriptive names. Readme files same, very disappointed. Got it for my xD data card, when you put it in it will read it, light stays on and says it is in use when you try to eject it... Didn't recognize the 500 GB Maxtor drive I tried to read, said it needed to format 7.9 GB size drive..
Other Thoughts: For all I know it could be a great device when properly installed, but I will never know because the documentation was far lacking a description.

Other Thoughts: I gave them a 4 out of 5 due to customer service. I received my product very quickly. But it never worked out of the box. I was upset that it didn't work but their customer service gave it a high rating. They took care of me and refunding my money.
