Pros: Easy to fire up out of the box. No adjustments needed. Just like any other inexpensive trimmer.
Cons: Just like any other inexpensive trimmer. It works, but leaves a bit to be desired.
Other Thoughts: For the low price, it does a great job. It bogs down under moderately heavy use, and seems to have fuel/air problems when hot.

Pros: Actually logged on to badmouth this product. It does a good job if you buy the prewound spools.
Cons: Autofeed of line only seems to work if you buy prewounded spools. I used at least one prewound spool every time I edged my lawn.
If you wind your own spools, you end up having to feed the line manually. It will get caught, and not work.
Other Thoughts: I do wish they had a bumping version of this. I would buy it then. If you manually wind your spools, it just takes too much time and effort, but it does do a good job.
This doesn't have "feather light" control, its a beast, but for my lawn that works in my favor.

Pros: I've used several of these PP3000B units professionally in turf maintenance for years. I love the fact that it delivers a Powerful Wind (120-150 mph) at ground level where it's needed. In my mind this is best, most efficient tool for the job. It really speeds up the job of cleaning walkways and blowing leaves on (for pickup) or off a lawn.
Cons: It's a shame the manufacturer didn't put a Teflon slip plate between the vanes and the case. The plastic spinning on plastic (ABS?) leads to premature failure when the vane melts to the case particularly on hot summer days. Expect 1 year service at best if you use this 3 or 4 times a day during the season. For the casual user this may less of a problem.
Other Thoughts: I've tried fixing the above mentioned problem several ways and nothing short of purchasing a new unit works. Once it's melted it'll keep melting together even if you open the unit and keep separating it. Also make sure that your powerhead is not bearing down on the shaft. It needs play otherwise the above mentioned problem will be exasperated. In spite of the problem this is still my favorite blower (and I've tried many including backpacks) so I keep buying them. However I feel a fair price given the problem would be around $40. I believe it is no longer being manufactured due to high return rates.

Cons: String, gets caught, bundles up, or spews out like crazy. Uses way too much string.
Other Thoughts: I have owned this about a year and I have used it about 6 times. The automatic line feeder is stupid. It is VERY dangerous as it puts out too much string and can cut your legs. The string does not cut off by itself either.
