Pros: Effortless installation - just line-up guide pins and lower printer - no other connections. Works perfectly with auto paper selection. Holds an entire ream of paper.
Cons: Price. Cost 63% of printer. Then again, the printer was a great deal and the extra tray is a quality piece of equipment.
Other Thoughts: Used with an HPLJ M401DNE printer. All paper handling, including auto-duplexing, works as expected. I use this tray (3) for Letter, and the internal tray (2) for legal and Windows doesn't have any problem defaulting to this and sending jobs designated as legal-sized to tray 2, which was a real irritant with my old LJ2100 with an optional tray.

Pros: I've purchased a lot of fuser kits, never had an issue with an official HP fuser. I've had issues with refurbed ones, that just don't last as long as they should. For the business I work for, it's worth getting HP. It also comes with the manual, plus gloves to keep toner off yourself. Also easy to swap out, and manual is easy to follow if needed.
Cons: no cons

Pros: * Fits like a glove * Holds more than a std ream of paper * Excellent bypass & manual feed trays
Cons: * none
Other Thoughts: Bought the Lexmark CS510de from another vendor, was miffed to see that, though all the website photos of the printer showed this tray as part of the printer, it was not included. Nonetheless, can't say a bad word about it -- it fits perfectly, holds over 500 sheets of paper (no more "half-used ream packs" lying around), and has a superb design for the manual feed (no tray, just insert the paper, card stock, label sheet, or envelope) as well as the bypass tray.
Coming off a few other brands over the last decade (Xerox, HP, Okidata, and Samsung) I have been quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Lexmark printer itself, and especially with this simple add-on, which truly moves the functionality of the printer up several notches.
Well worth the money -- kudos for both the tray and the printer, and for the not-yet-mentioned wireless printer dongle, which allows all our devices -- computers, tablets, and phones -- to print directly to the CS510de w/o any monkeying around with network settings, special software, or permissions.
I sound like a commercial, but it's true when they say, when you're not #1, you try harder.
