Died twice
- Pros: Really fast
- Cons: Died first time within 6 months of purchase, Mushkin had excellent customer service ,returned to them within two weeks had new one now three months later it died
- Other Thoughts: I have purchased an ocz and adata before this one they have not even hiccuped i will stay away from chronos but still have faith in mushkin

Adendum on my last review
- Pros: I contacted Crucial about this problem, and they were really helpfull. They provided me with a reviving procedure (turn on the PC for 20 minutes, then turn it off and turn it back on) and it worked. The drive is back, as nothing happened.
I'm must say i'm surprised, and i wasn't prepared for such a good service.
Thanks Crucial! - Cons: can cause sweating for thinking the computer is dead.

Good for a short time
- Pros: I have been really satisfied with this product for the time it worked: lightning fast boot with windows 8 (on a gp35gp intel with core2 duo 2.6, 8gb ram). Boot in 10 sec or less, silent. App startup really fast without any hard drive noise.
But yesterday, i was on google map, and suddently the system is not responding anymore. Reboot: no hard drive.. unplug, plug, wait for 2-3 minutes, boot: no hard drive.. Unit is dead... after 7 months. Didn't stored anything important since this technology is still new, so didn't thrust this... good thing... 7 months for a hard drive, no RMA available after a month.. this sucks.. over a hundred bucks in the garbages. I shouldn't have been impulsive and just sticked with baracuda.
I'll contact Crucial about the warranty, i want my toy back! - Cons: unreliable

First SSD, Best SSD
- Pros: Bought this SSD primarily for my OS/frequently used applications on, and coming from a 1.5tb 5400rpm HDD, this thing is FAST. My boot times didn't decrease significantly, but it's noticeable. Total time from power on to desktop is under 30 seconds, and my monitor can't turn on fast enough for my boot. Some slow applications like Skype/AMD Overdrive open up within seconds, as well as Task Manager and cycling through tabs. Very happy.
- Cons: Somewhat difficult/confusing to move/clone an OS from HDD to SSD, so I just installed another Win8 on my SSD. Having two drives with OS's is nice, I guess?
Getting started with everything was also somewhat confusing, having to reinstall everything on the HDD to get the SSD to recognize it was also a little confusing. Do some research beforehand if this is first SSD.

Revised review
- Pros: It was pointed out to me that the warranty of this drive is 5 years instead of the 2 years that I stated in my earlier review. It was also pointed out to me that the RMA'ed item can be returned to their location in the USA near their headquarters. I guess the pamphlet that was included with the drive may not have had the latest information.
- Cons: N/A
- Other Thoughts: The warranty period of 5 years is a big improvement and indicates that the vendor supports this product. I certainly didn't want to mislead anyone so I felt like I needed to revise the warranty information included in my previous review.

World's BEST SSD!
- Pros: - Fastest SSD I've ever used
- Very stable
- Price competitive with competition
- Quality construction - Cons: - Drive shipped with old firmware, had to update when received
- Other Thoughts: - Be sure to go to OCZ Technology's website to upgrade the firmware to the latest!
- I've owned a previous generation OCZ drive and the Vector smokes the pants of the previous generation!
- I've owned other vendor's SSDs and this one smokes the pants (real world) off the others as well!

ATTO Score Is Amazing
- Pros: Very Fast and has not Failed
- Cons: That I Could Not Have Afforded A Larger Capacity At the Time
- Other Thoughts: Bought this just over a year ago and it has not disappointed. The ATTO benchmark transfer rates for Read and Write from the 256.0 mark to 8192.0 both go over 500MB. Small capacity SSD drives are very fast but unfortunately I need more space so I just purchased 2 Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB drives from Newegg ($159.99 ea) and I hope that I don't come to miss this drive's performance.

5 year warranty, not 3
- Pros: 5 year warranty
- Cons: none yet, but its still in the box :)
- Other Thoughts: I'm posting this so that people know that it actually has a 5 year warranty, not just the 3 years that are listed here. All you have to do is register your product with PNY and they add 2 more years to your warranty! So this is just a review of the warranty since i just received my SSD yesturday

Best value
- Pros: I've had this drive for three months now. I just ordered a second one yesterday since it was on sale for like $160, and with free shipping it was a charm. Since i ordered in the morning, it came today even though i chose super egg saving shippping (4-7 business day)...so that just goes to show how quick newegg processes and ships their orders.
But for the drive itself, it's great for the price. You can't beat it. I also have an m4 crucial ssd 256 gb, and it performs faster as far as sequential reads. Boots much faster, and has been very reliable thus far.
The pricing is just unbeatable, especially with the sale price i bought it at NEW with a 3 year warranty. I'm happy to have 2 of these drives booting my desktop and laptop. - Cons: None whatsoever
- Other Thoughts: Just wanna point out newegg's phenomenal shipping times. They are extraordinarily fast with every purchase I have made. Even faster sometimes than prime membership shipping at another site, you all may know of, at no extra costs.
