Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 SABERTOOTH REVIEW - Stick Sensativity
Pros: Very Good Build Qaulity. Re-Mapping Options are many. Most Importantly to me was the ability to have a controller that can vary the sensitivity of the control sticks.
Cons: Price.
Other Thoughts: My first purchase was the Razor Onza - great concept, poor quality. Then I purchased a Hori controller, built like a brick but the sensativity just did not work at all. Then I purchased this new Razor Sabertooth. It has all the features I want, specifically the ability to change the sensativity of the sticks. Simply put, it utilizes a sensativity control that seems to be passive(electronic) in nature, unlike the Onza that had the screws to pshyically tighten down. The sensativity goes from +10 to -10, with (-10) being the slowest. It works very, very well. There is a dramitic difference between the two settings. Additionally it allows you to have two profiles on one controller, therefore you can switch from a -5 setting to a +10 setting on the fly in mid game. Why is this cool, becasue when I'm sniping I want dead on accurace, but if Im in a vehicle I need a quick response - you can do this with the touch of literally one button mid game any time you wish to and then switch right back. It seems to me that all of the controllers out there are basically the same, I however have always had difficulty keeping the stick centered on my target, making the gameplay infuriating. The Sabertooth is an all digital display and all settings can be changed via this digital display panel. It also has a huge variety of stick and trigger remap features-more that any other controller. The Hori controller was a good concept and built well, it had a switch on the bottom to adjust the sensativity, but only to one speed which was dirt slow even for me -so useless. And there is no way the Hori could fit into anything but large adult hands, its huge. I did in fact absolutely love the ONZA, but I went through three of them in a short period of time and therefore the cost became silly. So far the Sabertooth has filled its shoes and seems to have a much higher build quality to it. I dont expect any controller to last forever, but it should also not fail after a month. The button layout is well done with the second set of bumpers are now in a better spot and smaller. Its an expensive controller right now at like 80 bucks - but you have to weigh that against replacing ones that break and without it I cannot play any FPS at all, so really it was well worth the money. I dont see any other controller that does what this does and as effectively. Its also better than the Power A, which I also own btw. So really I have owned just about every controller(including MS) except for maybe the madcatz. So bottom line is that if the adjustable stick sensativity is crucial to your game play I can tell you 100% this is the one to get! Otherwise save your money and just buy a regular MS Wireless.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Logitech > Logitech F310 Gamepad with broad game support and customizable buttons

Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3 Flimsy
Pros: It was cheap and it works.
Cons: It is cheap. No rumble motors. The triggers are too tight, you need to put an unnecessary amount of pressure on them to push them down. Without instructions (since it is refurbished) it took about 30 minutes to figure out that the little switch hidden on the back needed to be moved from "D" to "X" to make it work. There should only be one setting. I have no idea what "D" mode it, but "X" mode makes it work with the Xbox 360 controller drivers for Windows. The Xbox 360 controller is so much better. This one is like a Playstation controller which hasn't changed in like 20 years. Nobody uses the d-pad as the primary, everyone uses the left joystick and Xbox cleverly put it on top.
Other Thoughts: I usually prefer Logitech over other brands since most of the Logitech items I have purchased in the past were better than similar items made by different brands such as keyboards, mice, speakers and headphones. This particular game pad is not very good and not worth the price. It feels like a cheap Chinese knockoff, which I have made the mistake of buying in the past. Even at the refurbished price of $12, I think it is better to just spend another $10 and buy an Xbox 360 controller. The Playstation style controller is not comfortable and this Logitech makes it even worse with the hard triggers. The Xbox 360 controller was designed to fit in your hand perfectly and not put your thumbs and fingers in any awkward positions no matter what combination of buttons you are pressing. The Logitech Playstation controller is more likely to give you carpel tunnel than the 360.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Logitech > Logitech G13 USB Advanced Gameboard

Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3 can't game without it
Pros: = ) pretty easy to program with included software
= ) thumb joystick
= ) improves PC gaming immensely over just plain keyboard
Cons: : ( its just plain to large and bulky to put on lap where I like to use it
: ( as others have said, HAD TO REPLACE DUE TO CHEAPLY MADE USB CABLE
Other Thoughts: Nice to see Newegg has a sale going on because I have to replace this thing due to the usb cable connection right where it terminates inside the device wearing out and shorting out the wires it is supposed to be protecting!!

Pros: The f310 is great, we all know that. But kudos to NewEgg for
once again beating the larceny out of those slimy patent trolls.
NewEgg is my kind of company. Sempre Fidelis

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 Joystick deadzone
Pros: Refurb looks and feels like new.
Cons: Joystick deadzones are large. I read about it and hoped it wouldn't be a problem for me. However, I can move my joystick about halfway to the edge without getting a response. I think it's a bit too much even for games like DMC.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Logitech > Logitech F310 Gamepad with broad game support and customizable buttons

Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1 Disappointed
Pros: The drivers installed properly right away and it was ready to use, but then it didn't work properly.
Cons: The controller was broken when I received it. The right trigger and joystick did not work at all and the left joystick was permanently stuck in the forward position. They clearly did not do anything to "refurbish" this controller and I got stuck with it.
Other Thoughts: Unfortunately I could not get a refund, I could only return it for a replacement. Then I found out I would have to pay for shipping to send this one back. I did not want to pay to send it back and risk getting another broken controller so I am going to eat the money I spent on it. Just buy a new controller and don't risk getting stuck with a broken one.

Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3 Its okay
Pros: It works, its cheaper than what works better, and can be used for older games
Cons: buttons are stiff, and the analog sticks don't read properly.
Other Thoughts: There's better stuff out there.

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Fantastic product; very highly recommended!
Pros: My brother has two of these wired ones plus a wireless and they all work great, so I figured I'd get one as well; plugged it in, and it immediately turned on (after the drivers installed of course). Played several games with it and no issues. Definitely worth every penny!
Cons: None that I can think of!
Other Thoughts: I already have a Logitech keyboard/mouse combo, so it only made sense to get a Logitech gamepad. We love you Newegg and Logitech!

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Best bang for the buck
Pros: It's a pretty decent controller, Being a Logitech-lover I had to try it out. It feels alot fuller then a PS3 controller, Even the triggers have a little longer pull to them, Which I personally love.. And come on, It's Logitech! Whats not to like about it?! <3!
Cons: D pad takes a little getting use to, But other then that I have no complaints.
Other Thoughts: Although this is strictly a personal preference, I would have loved the analog sticks to be positioned like an XBox 360 controller, I feel like I have much more control when the analogs are not so close together.

Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1 Drivers are useless......
Pros: Feels solid.
Cons: Driver download and setup did not work for Win7 64 Pro, even after trying compatibility Troubleshooter. Doesn't recognize the buttons for what they are. Rediculously hard to setup most games to use it effectively. Support site gets you running around to absolutely nowhere. Support for this device absolutely sucks. Will never deal with them again. Worst 20 bucks I have ever spent.
