Pros: Works perfectly. I use a Pentax DSLR and this remote flash does it's job flawlessly. I put batteries in the receivers, put the transmitter on my hot camera, and it worked perfectly. There was no fuss. The range and flash timing produced great pictures.
Other Thoughts: I like this setup and it really works well for me. I mostly take portraits or setup my subjects (no action shots) and having the remote flashes allow me to get the light in just the right places so I get the exposure, shadows, and highlights that I set up for. I am really impressed with this unit. I found this setup while looking to buy a remote flash that cost $100+: I'm glad I found this because it does exactly what I wanted and nearly payed over $100 for another unit with the same functionality.

Pros: It works, decently fast, lets you make use of micro sd. Great buy to save money on expensive sony cards or make use of extra micro sd
Other Thoughts: Feels a bit flimsy. The plastic is very pliable so it doesn't feel like it's going to break easily but since it's at least 50% hollow, it doesn't feel as solid as a regular MS. There can be a bit of trepidation when inserting into a device. I highly recommend filling both slots so it doesn't feel as wiggly.

Pros: * small and lightweight, * is using standard AAA batteries, * because it has separate power source, the camera battery lasts longer, * focus assistance works well.
Cons: * doesn't turn on automatically, there is a button you have to long-press to turn it on, * takes slightly more time to recharge than built in flash, but that probably depends on batteries.
Other Thoughts: The built-in flash in my camera (Canon EOS T2i) stopped working after one of my beach vacations. I tried to fix it according to the internet tutorial, but I only made it worse. Because my camera is only 3ys old and works great otherwise, I decided to buy the smallest external flash on the market. Canon Speedlite 90EX delivers as a replacement for built in flash. It is not stronger or faster, but it's got one advantage: it works.

Other Thoughts: Remote shutter works perfectly with my Canon EOS Rebel T4i (650D) I'm leaving 4 stars because when it shipped here it said my name *OR CURRENT RESIDENT* are you CRAZY?! I get other people's mail all the time and I'm sure they get mine. To put 'or current resident' like this is some kind of sample and not a product I paid for is ridiculous. Plain and simple, only put the name of the person who ordered a product from you.

Cons: Fails in a relatively short time. I've had two. The first decided to lock itself into 14mm zoom after about 30 exposures. I exchanged it for a Mk II version and it did the same thing within 10 days (I normally wouldn't have used it that much, but I was checking it out before the return period (not NewEgg's) expired)

Pros: Delivery was fast. Nice speedlite. Cost the same as a regular flash at the store. This is a nice high quality piece of equipment. Works exactly like it says with my Cannon DSLR.
Cons: None that I can see at the moment.
Other Thoughts: This is a good Speedlite, solid, and works well. It is as good as a Cannon, minus the ttl. So it is manual, but if you can work around it you will save a bundle on the price. I paid the same as a regular flash unit runs here in town (with no remote). You will not be disappointed with buying one of these, especially if you are on a budget. Also it is very easy to use. Setting to adjust the zoom and brightness of flash are easy to get at and quick to adjust.
