Pros: -Lower end but powerful Core i3 3217U -4GB (integrated on the board) still one slot open -500GB Seagate Slim HDD design -Touch Screen of course -Gigabit LAN (i have a 150MB down/65MB up) -Nice mostly brushed metal finish, feels very solid
Cons: -4GB (integrated on the board) still one slot open but i guess it's necessary to keep the slim design. -MSata connector designed to fit half height SSD(See other thoughts)
Other Thoughts: Well the Msata plug positioned to fit a half height SSD but i managed to hook in a Crucial M500 240GB to install windows 8 and use the default Seagate 500GB slim HDD for storage files. Also added a G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) for 8GB total and replaced the Wifi with a Intel 7260HMW BN IEEE 802.11 N300 Mini PCI Express plus Bluetooth 4.0 - Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Combo Adapter with a 130MB connection (almost my full 150MB download).
Note: In video i point out that a little plastic foot need to come off in order to fit a full sized Msata SSD, it does not effect the laptop in anyway.
Also not sure if i am gonna return to ASUS for repair but my Webcam doesn't work or get recognized by the PC.
