Rating + 1 No license key for Blue Iris

What came through from Foscam was a trial version 4 on disc since it didn't include a license key. Took a 45 minute phone call to get an RMA from Foscam.

Ordered the 2PACK Foscam bundle. One box arrived with just one Foscam. Contacted Newegg - they sent a message to seller. I sent another message to seller. Still no contact. Still trying to resolve this!

The company has excellent shipping skills but lousy customer service skills. Three emails sent and only the first one was responded to. And the response was "I dont know but will check and get back to you". I'm still holding my breath!

Rating + 1 Shipping was late

I paid for overnight shipping. Received after 4-5 days through regular shipping. When I talked to Newegg, they said they would contact the shipper and ask for refund, but nothing happened. Very disappointed.

Old CD disk, had to uninstall and download the 4.0.6 newer version from the Web. The activation code inside jacket was good.

Camera arrived in good condition working. Problem is Audio. For Security I wanted to have the ability to listen as advertized and trip a sound alarm.
There is NO software plugin from VLC or anyone that appears to work. VLC website etc. says none available. Problem Video contrast blinking.

Rating + 1 Wrong Item Shipped

I ordered a $39.99 charger and got a $9.00 battery instead. The invoice that came with the order was correct but the only contents of the package was a sony VTC4 battery that I did not order. The packaging isnt even big enough to hold the charger; its as if they never intended to send me the correct item. emailed the seller and have not gotten a response yet.

Rating + 1 Poor Foscom RMA Return

Received order fairly quick but unit was DOA out of the box. I had to pay 6 dollars to ship it back. Then they send me an email that I have to pay them 7.00 to ship me a good one? Really? How about sending me a good one to begin with like I ordered. Will not be doing business with Foscom again.

    Refunds for non-defective, used cameras are subject to a 15% restocking fee. For replacements after the 30 day period, if the product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, please contact us at with your name and order number to proceed with an RMA replacement.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.

We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed).
