One million customer reviews milestone to be celebrated with more than $13,000 in giveaways# # #

This June, the company reached the benchmark of one million customer product reviews. To commemorate the achievement the popular online retailer announced a surprise giveaway of more than $13,000 to 1,000-plus lucky reviewers with the generous support of vendor partner Hanns-G.
The company slogan, “Once you know, you Newegg,” couldn’t be more fitting. Written by customers, the product reviews provide shoppers a forum to evaluate products and share their experiences with the online community.

The giveaways reward several distinguished members of the Newegg community. The one millionth reviewer will receive a $5,000 shopping spree on newegg.com after reviewing Hanns-G’s HG-281DBP 28” Widescreen LCD HDMI Monitor. Also recognized are the very first customer review author and the customer with the largest number of reviews of Newegg products. More than 1,000 customers who submitted reviews on the day the milestone was reached will receive limited edition gifts to commemorate the big day.
