As students of all ages across the U.S. and Canada prepare to go back to school, Newegg has announced the "Nominate Your Teacher Awards," a promotion that will recognize and reward educators who are making a positive impact on the lives of their students, colleagues, and the communities they serve.
Newegg invites its visitors and fans in the U.S. and Canada to acknowledge teachers who are making a difference, by nominating them for an award. To be eligible, the nominee must be currently employed in the U.S. or Canada as a public school teacher (K through 12th grade). Newegg will select the Award winner and then utilize its vast selection of thousands of computer and tech-related products to create a very special reward -- providing the Award-winning teacher's school with a computer lab consisting of IT equipment worth up to $25,000. The website will work hand-in-hand with the school to select the appropriate equipment.
The Award-winning teacher will also personally receive a $2,500 Newegg gift certificate, while two honorable mention winners selected by Newegg and three public choice winners chosen by Newegg's fans will each be awarded a $500 Newegg gift certificate.
