Posting Policy

Newegg.com's Product Ratings and Reviews feature enables Newegg.com customers to help each other make informed buying decisions.

There are times when even the most savvy techie needs a 2nd or 3rd opinion on a product he or she's interested in. To share your honest product-specific experience with the Newegg.com community, read the Product Review Guidelines below and click the "write a review" link on the product page of the product you'd like to review.

Your helpful insights, both positive and negative, are warmly welcomed!

Newegg.com reads all reviews before posting them and reserves the right to deny any review.

Here are some of the things that can cause a review to be denied:

• Offensive or abusive language.
• Prices and availability can change very quickly on the Newegg.com website, so please leave such information out of your review.
• Hyperlinks / URLs.
• References to other stores / resellers.
• Comments on products that were either physically damaged or misused.
• Replies to existing customer reviews; please do not attempt to initiate discussions here.
• Comparisons to competing brands / products of competing brands.
• Criticism of Newegg.com's service or the service of our operations partners. (FedEx, UPS, Paypal, etc.)
• References to aftermarket procedures or installation techniques not mentioned specifically in the original product documentation (overclocking, hacked drivers, tweaking/modding, etc.)
• Illegal content
• Invasions of personal privacy
• Pornography or obscenity
• Hate or incitement of violence, threats of harm or safety of a person
• Graphic violence or other acts resulting in serious injury or death
• Any violations of copyright. Please see our DMCA policy for more information.
• Any violation of laws and/or copyrighted musical works.

We may change these policies at any time without notice.

We welcome the submission of videos that share your honest opinion of the various products offered on Newegg.com. The content of your video should be specific to the product you have purchased and contain the features and benefits of said product.

• Accepted Formats: .wmv, .avi, .mpg, .mpeg
• Size Limit: 10 minutes / 100MB
• Connection: 256kbps recommended (cable or DSL)
• Supported OS: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, Mac OSX 10.2 or later
• Minimum Browser Version: IE6, Firefox 1.5, Safari 2.0

Depending on the file size, your connection and network traffic, uploads could take over one hour.

Newegg.com is not obligated, but reserves the right to reject or remove objectionable content at its sole discretion. If approved, your review will appear in its entirety. We will not edit out any content, although we will strike out any references to the following:

• Website addresses
• Phone numbers
• Personal or business addresses
• Email addresses
• Any information about a person under 18 years of age

If you do submit ratings and/or reviews, you grant Newegg.com a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable, right to use, reproduce and modify, as we deem necessary, such content on the Newegg.com website and in other marketing materials.
You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post, that the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and belief, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Newegg.com and its directors, officers and employees from any resulting liability. Newegg.com takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.

Newegg.com reads all Wish Lists and Wish List Reviews before posting them and reserves the right to deny any Wish List or Wish List Review.
