Standard Return Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, most products can be returned or exchanged within the defined periods listed below. All returns and exchanges require a Return Authorization number. Please fill out the following form to request a Return Authorization number
If it is our Mistake:
If your product was shipped incorrectly or arrived damaged or defective, we will replace the item(s) properly at our expense. Please do not use these items, and please report the problem to us, in writing or by phone, within 5 days of delivery. Items that are “Electrics” may receive troubleshooting assistance by our support team or technicians as part of this process.
What is the Returns/Exchange Period for my Item?:
30 Day Returns/Exchange Period:
New, Refurbished, and Open Box items designed for Residential use have a 30 day satisfaction period from the date of delivery.
7 Day Returns Period: New, Refurbished and Open Box items designed for Commercial use have a 7 day satisfaction period from the date of delivery.
Items that cannot be returned
(when not due to a JL Hufford mistake): Books (including cookbooks), replacement parts for espresso machines, opened food/consumable items, and opened filters or chemical cleaners cannot be returned. In addition, dispensing blender systems and water-plumbable espresso machines cannot be returned. Items that are damaged, missing parts/accessories, or are otherwise in poor condition are not eligible for return. Any item delivered that is beyond its respective Returns Period.
About Return Shipping:
If an item must be returned due to a mistake by JL Hufford, we will issue the appropriate shipping label at our cost. Instructions will be provided to properly ship the items back to us. For returns not due to other reasons, we recommend insured shipments with tracking, such as FedEx and UPS. Please note that items must arrive back to us in the same condition that they were delivered for the applicable refund amount (below) to be issued.
How Refund Amounts Are Calculated:
For refunds of returnable items within their Returns Period:
Items designed for Residential Use that are in new condition and are unused 100% Full Refund
Items designed for Commercial Use that are in new condition and are unused 90% of the item’s price
Items designed for Residential Use that are used and are in like-new condition 85% of the item’s price
Items designed for Commercial Use that are used and are in like-new condition 75% of the item’s price
Items refused upon delivery or unable to be delivered 90% of the item’s price
What Products can be Exchanged?:
Items designed for Residential Use that are in new or like condition can be exchanged within their defined period for 100% of their sale price towards a different item.
How Refunds Are Issued:
Once the returned item is received in acceptable condition into our facility, a refund will be issued within 5 to 10 business days.
2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
