Rating + 1 Sneaky business owner - BEWARE!!!

The order I placed with this seller has been a disaster. The seller repeatedly lied, saying they shipped the order already, when tracking results proved this was not true. Days after the order was cancelled, they handed it over to Fedex and proceeded to lie to me more.

The more disappointing thing was that newEgg proved to be powerless to be able to make things right. After researching, it seems many other buyers are having similar problems with this seller. I have been a newEgg customer for 14 years and have never had such a bad experience. NewEgg seems to be losing control over their Marketplace sellers. How can this seller be allowed to continue doing business when there are so many complaints on the books!?!

Rating + 5 Very nice product.

I had no issues getting this product in the time frame promised. The product was delivered without damage. Since I had no issues with delivery or the monitor I can not tell you how well their customer service department is, which in my opinion is a good thing.

Rating + 1 Poor customer service and communication!

Attempted to place an order but the website timed out, so I went to a better place to get what I needed. Over an hour later I get notification my card had been charged for the order. I immediately contacted them to get it cancelled and they respond with "the order had been released and could not be canceled". which is there go to line apparently to screw a customer. I had to contact them to get an RMA only to be told I will responsible for freight and a 15% restocking fee on an order I never technically got placed. On top of it all they didnt ship it to my address it went to a whole other city 20 miles away. So Buyers Beware

Rating + 1 Terrible communications and customer service

Placed an order at 3PM for overnight delivery. By 6am the following morning there had been no communication from the seller and the order still showed "in process". I emailed Mega Retail Store requesting they cancel the order as it had not shipped and I paid for over night shipping. 8 hours after I requested the order to be cancelled I received shipping notification from newegg.com, and one hour later I receive a response to my 6am (9 hours earlier) request to cancel the order stating "the order had been released and could not be canceled". I find it completely appalling that this vendor ignored my request for 8 hours (during typical business hours of 7am EDT to 4PM EDT), shipped the order and then tells notifies me the order has been released and could not be cancelled. I will never use Mega Retail Sucks (oops Store) again!

Rating + 1 False Listing

This retailer listed an Dell 27" ultrasharp monitor with detailed descriptions that matched Dell's official specs and product number. However, when the product arrived, it was the 25" ultrasharp that uses a completely different product number and is a completely different price (actually the listing was about $100 more expensive than Newegg's posting for something similar). This kind of false advertising is every internet shopper's worst nightmare. Can't believe Newegg allows this retailer to list on its website. I would never buy from this retailer, and hope Newegg de-list them from ever selling to their customers in the future.

Rating + 1 Won't buy from this seller anylonger

I ordered an SSD drive M.2 and, although deliver was super fast, I received a totally different item, unusable for me. I immediately contacted customer support and i was told that i have to wait 1-2 business days to get feedback about refund/replacement. That does not work for me because the drive is supposed to be installed in a new built PC which I have to deliver in 2 days. Also, NewEgg was not really helpful to backup my problem. They could not guarantee me the refund. Nevertheless, I went to Amaz and purchased another drive and had to pay additional fees for next day deliver. Yes, I could have purchased from NewEgg again, but at this point I trust more Amaz. No question asked and immediate action.

    Return Policy

    Mega Retail Store accepts returns up to 30 days from original delivery date. Any returned merchandise must be in its original packaging and original condition. If the product is not in the original packaging when returned a 50% re-stocking fee will be applied.
    Unless our company is in error or the listing is in error, the customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs, the original shipping costs, and a 15% restocking fee.

    Defective equipment:
    We apologize if you received an item that is not working but all warranty issues must be referred back to the original manufacturer for support. We will do our very best to make sure the issue is resolved through the OEM (original equipment manufacturer).

    Defective Returns:
    If for any reason the defective item is returned to Mega Retail Store the defective product will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. The customer will be responsible for return shipping and original shipping costs. If the defective product is not in the original packaging when returned the product will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

    Non-Defective returns:
    If the item needs to be returned and is not damaged or defective and still in the original sealed box please contact us for a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). All non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and original shipping costs. If the non-defective product is not in the original packaging when returned the product will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

    Refunds:
    Once product is returned, inspected and complies with the Mega Retail Store Return Policy a refund will be processed within 24 hours.

    Inventory:
    Mega Retail Store uses multiple data feeds to update our inventory on daily basis and we do are very best to manage accuracy of this information. We are not responsible for any SKU’s that have been assigned to other products, manufactures, descriptions or UPC codes. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to these inaccuracies or typographical errors.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
