Autel MaxiScan® Canbus OBDII Check Engine Auto Scanner Trouble Code Reader
Pros: Not applicable. Cons: Incompatible with a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo & Impala SS with the 5.3L V8 engine. A check engine trouble light illuminated recently and when I connected the reader, according to their user guide, it displayed 'N/A 01/01' which, according to the user guide of the reader, states that this reader is not compatible to my vehicle. I went to my service garage and my mechanic connected his reader and was able to read the trouble code and clear it. If you own the same or similar model vehicle, be very aware of this before purchasing it and also do some research first to see which reader is compatible to your vehicle before purchasing one.

I ordered a product from this company and had a problem with the item so I contacted the company who ships the item out and they were great . They shipped out a replacement no questions asked . They have a wonderful customer service and I was very impressed . I give them an A +++ .

The AUTEL OBDii Scan Tool I bought may work fine but downloading the MS300 trouble codes is a problem. From what I have read online the problem is at the AUTEL download site and it not up to date. And their file format using ".rar" type files is a problem. I have not had the time to research this problem yet however "newegg" should make sure what they sell is all there before they offer it. In this case the hardware is their but the software (Up to Date Trouble Codes) is not.
