So I got a good deal on a Dyson fan... wait not a New dyson a refurbished dyson that they tried to pass as new. Then they try to name themselves Dyson.USA I am reporting these guys to dyson.

Rating + 1 Refurbs are a joke

Fan came in filthy and scratched. The note inside said it was professionally cleaned and repaired by a Dyson tech... but it looked more like it was bought from a garage sale after heavy use in a dirty environment and put in a new box. Very disappointed.

I was very disappointed that my vacuum didn't work right out of the box. After a bit of research and thorough examination of my vacuum, I discovered it was missing a small hose connecting the brush to the main unit. So why did I give them 5 eggs? Two words: customer service.

I went into an online chat session with someone and they helped me register my vacuum, pinpoint what was needed and ordered it right then and there. It all happened in a very short amount of time and I was very pleased with the process.

Rating + 1 Don't bother with refurbished...

Just received a refurbished fan.

This is my second Dyson fan. I've had the first for a few years and love it. Never had a problem. Also have two Dyson vacuums, and I'm more than satisfied with them as well.

Wanted a second Dyson fan and thought I'd save a bit by buying refurbished... This thing works fine, but it's not refurbished... It's used.

A single page was included with the manual that states "This Dyson Air Multiplier fan has been refurbished. Dyson engineers have cleaned it, replaced any necessary new parts, and then tested it thoroughly."

I don't believe a word of that because this fan is caked with dust that was easily removed with my finger. If that's what "Dyson engineers" consider cleaning, then I "refurbish" everything I throw into a dumpster.

I suspect the actual company that is Dyson hasn't yet figured out that "The ABC Vacuum Warehouse" is calling itself "Dyson USA" on Newegg. Look at the other recent reviews and avoid this seller.

Rating + 1 Worst Place To Get Your Stuff

ew Egg is quite different now, that I know it years back. Now, if you contact them about a return, the chances of them returning your query takes days, then they send you an email with a "supposed" RMA, but without any attachments whatsoever. I have contacted them about this issue and they never resolved it. I contacted them 3 times about this. Good luck with me now on my 500 dollar return. They say in the email too that for me to send them my email so they can reforward it, what is up with that, they were sending me messages and they do not know my email. Nothing but excuses and excuses. A M A Z O N is a better place to buy, they are very attentive to customer needs and would not bat an eyelash for any returns. New Egg used to be a wonderful place to get electronics, but now, it is a nightmare.

Would have rated ZERO if Newegg let me! Received Dyson vacuum missing critical short hose located on the underside of the machine that connects roller brush to vacuum motor - thus CANNOT use vacuum. Was assured by Newegg and the seller - that the missing part would be sent immediately - over two weeks later and I cannot get any further replies nor status updates. Today I finally found that this is a common part selling for between $8 and $11 - but it should have been included with the vacuum! I cannot understand why this has been so frustrating a process, and my problem remains unresolved. It appears I'll either have to buy the missing part on my own or [attempt to] return the vacuum entirely. All prior Newegg experiences have been great - but this one, with an outside seller, has been inexcusably poor - enough to make me hesitate from ANY future purchases via Newegg.

I just rated this, but decided to check the decibel levels of the fans I have. The 20 inch oscillating stand fan is at 57 decibels on high. The dyson is at 79 on high. It's much too loud to be used in any setting where you want to have conversation, watch a show, or do anything that requires an environment with moderate quiet.
The frequency of the Dyson fan is also very harsh. If I had the proper meter, I'd find out what frequency it was operating on, but it is one that after 5 minutes would require a large amount of headache medicine because it is not kind to the head nor the ears.
As I stated before, avoid this fan at all costs! I've contacted Dyson to get mine returned because this is unacceptable.

RMA Policy
    Defective Merchandise:
    Customers have 30 days from the shipment date to return defective merchandise. When customers contact ABC Vacuum Warehouse within the 30 day window, they have the option to receive a replacement unit or a refund with ABC paying the return shipping. Once the item arrives at ABC’s warehouse, the replacement unit will be shipped or the refund will be issued within 48 business hours.

    Unsatisfactory (did not meet expectations) Merchandise:
    Customers have 30 days from the shipment date to return unsatisfactory merchandise for a refund or replacement item. Customers have two options: they can pay the return shipping costs and receive a full refund –or— ABC pays the return shipping, and the customer receives a full refund sans 10 percent for restocking fees. Once the item has been returned and inspected, the refund will be issued within 48 business hours.

    Address Changes or Corrections: If you placed an online or phone order with an incorrect address you need to contact us by phone as soon as you discover it. Please do not send emails. We process orders as they come in so it is imperative that you act quickly. If your order has already shipped out, we can still make corrections but we will charge $15.00 to do this. This correction fee will be charged to your credit card.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
