Rating + 1 Completely Dishonest - Out of stock

First, order was stated in stock only to find after contacting store that it was out of stock.. Shipment email with tracking was sent then saying item was now in stock. Called FedEx who stated they never received a shipment. Money was taken from my account. After calling Newegg found that the item was never shipped but that shipment had just arrived to the store the moment I called. Requested refund as Newegg CS agent told me they had refurbished items in stock but not new.

Rating + 1 Week later: "We don't have it in stock"

Was marked as 'Shipped' a week ago, but they never actually sent it.
I received all the other items from the order (other sellers), but they were completely tardy on informing me of the situation. I finally received a strange voicemail, but it was only after 5 tries of calling them back (just rings and rings forever), that they finally answered to tell me they never had the camera package in stock. They said I should wait 1-3 weeks for them to get the package back in stock. Thankfully I was able to cancel the order and get a refund. But their shop is still selling the package right now as if they had it in stock...

Rating + 1 Too bad they're not honest...

I placed an order for 2 blackmagic pocket cinema cameras on the 10th of July. On the 15th I got notice that the shipping labels had been printed. That status did not change as of the 22nd. I contacted Newegg who contacted Photo-4-now, and we both got a basic runaround.

They claimed a) that it was shipped out the day before and b) they did so much business that fedex doesn't check their packages in right away. But when we complained they were happy to refund the credit card because we were "in a hurry" to get the product.

Now have you ever found anyone who would be eager to refund a credit card of over $1800 on an item they already shipped?????

As of today, here's the entire tracking history.

Rating + 1 Terrible and non-existent Customer Service

I have sent several messages, pictures, two chats with Newegg, to no avail. After a very long relationship with Newegg, I am forced to discontinue my account with Newegg.
It is a shame, that anyone would run a business this way. I cannot comprehend that as much business, as my company has given Newegg that the end would come in this manner.

Rating + 1 Inept seller

After purchasing a BMPCC with a bunch of accessories, which albeit were sub par, shipping information was sent to fedex the next day. The day following, after checking the tracking number ,the item had not left the point of origin, but an RMA/return was somehow successfully fulfilled due to "carrier damage". The seller proceeded with an RMA without notifying me, and successfully processed it. After checking Newegg's marketplace again, the seller has the same package listed for $100 more than what I paid only two days ago.

Stay far away from this seller.

Total bait and switch merchant / order fulfiller. Listed as in stock and I paid for it, only to be informed days later that it was not in stock and then asked whether I was interested in buying another version, which I was not. This merchant as order fulfiller makes Newegg look terrible.

This merchant misrepresented that it had a Leica X 113 silver / brown camera in stock, promptly took my money and only then told me that they in fact did not have the camera in stock and tried to sell me another item instead. A classic bait and switch operation.
How could Newegg do business with such a shyster operation? It makes your good company look terrible, as the chain is only as strong as the weakest link. Wake up and get rid of this merchant.

Comments: Ordered it late on Thursday night, and received it early on Saturday afternoon. It was being shipped from nearby, but still, delivery was faster than amazan prime. Good packaging What I order was exactly what I wanted (Sonos Playbar), but about $100 less than anywhere I could have bought it.

Rating + 1 Unethical Business Practices Condoned by Newegg

Shipping label issued 2 days after order. Item was not shipped until 2 weeks later after phone call inquiry.

Seller advertised a camera with a US warranty, but shipped a camera with an exclusive Canadian warranty. After a weeks of phone calls, the return has finally been authorized but not a prepaid shipping label. I continue the fight. If need be, I will charge back the credit card and keep the camera.

I am a long time (but will no longer be a) Newegg customer. Their Marketplace staff has tarnished the whole organization. Photo-4-now should have been banned long ago and Newegg takes not responsibility for their unethical dealing.

Unfortunately, we never received a reply to our last email informing you how to use the GPS and WiFi functions on your camera, as well as advising you to register your camera with the manufacturer. The unit that you have ordered is serviced within USA and Canada, implying that it has a North American warranty. In that email, we also asked you to confirm that you still wished to return this package, with this newly provided information.

RMA Policy
    eturn Policy For the first 30 days of your purchase, you can return merchandise for a refund or an exchange minus a 15% restocking fee and shipping cost. You must include the original packaging and the item must be in NEW condition. Items and packing must not be marred, mishandled, or tampered with by an unauthorized repair person. All returns must include the item's original undamaged packaging and instructions. Returns must also include the blank warranty card where applicable. Returns must include all the manufactures supplied accessories. All products must be returned in its original manufactures box. Returns must be free of any physical or cosmetic damage.

    When upon inspection if these conditions are not met the product will be either sent for repair in the customer’s name or immediately sent back to the customer at customer’s expense.

    All Receivers must be accompanied with original box in order to be considered for a return, exchange or repair. No Exceptions

RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 – 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail.
