When ordering the laptop battery I was sure I had the right one ordered. To my dismay, I did not. However, the return process and refund could not have been easier: e-mail updates the whole way through, refund was issued in a timely manner and return was easy when following the provided directions. Thanks Newegg! I will use your site again!

I ordered a 9 cell laptop battery from Laptop Battery 1. It arrived 7 days later and it was the wrong battery (6-cell) instead of the one I ordered. I called them and they said it was a order processing error on their end. The shipped out another one, with a return envelop for the wrong one. EXCEPT, the second battery they sent was THE WRONG ONE AGAIN! I called them, clearly frustrated with the whole thing. The rep on the phone said she didn't know what happened and that the battery I needed was on back order. I asked to speak to her manager, she said they were "out to lunch" and got my information and said the manager would call me in the next 24 hours. Three days went by...no call, email or anything, I was not surprised by this, seems like a really shady company. I ended up just calling Newegg working with them to get my refund. The Newegg rep sent me a link of another marketplace seller with a much better reputation.

I was surprised at the quality for such a low priced battery. I have only had it a couple of months, but so far it works very well.

I am very disappointed in your company's complete lack of anything remotely close to customer service. First you advertise a laptop battery, that you or your"market place" associate is not able to deliver, instead of just saying the battery is out of stock or it can not be delivered, they send out the wrong battery. Then it takes 3 phone calls, 10 e-mails, and I still do not have the shipping label to return the laptop battery. This the absolutely worst on line sales experience I have ever had.
I would strongly suggest you give up trying to act as a sales agent for other companies such as Laptop Battery One. You clearly do not have the organization ability to make it work.

Ordered battery and then received an email that the item has been lost by shipper. I have had problems with my last three orders from new egg, including one I currently submitted an RMA for and have been trying to return for the last 2 weeks with no response. In the past I have raved about neweggs great products and lightning fast shipping, but now that other venders are allowed to sell on the site it is hit or miss. I have probably made my last purchase on newegg:(

I was very disappointed because the new battery only lasts ONE hour so it did not make any difference from my 3 year old battery that also lasts one hour

Excellent price, free and fast shipping. Battery is replacement for OEM HP 484170-001. Perfect fit. Replaced battery and booted up laptop. Battery came with an 85% charge.

Battery was as advertised. Fit well and have had no problems. Low rating was with respect to shipping. Was supposed to be free. However due to use of incorrect packaging, was charged by postal service an additional $0.75. Packaging was of wrong size and was distorted such that did not meet postal service requirements. This also resulted in several days delay of delivery of battery.

- If you are not satisfied with your laptop battery purchase, your item may be returned within 60 days from the shipping date. Laptop Battery 1 retains discretion regarding whether a returned item will be refunded or exchanged.
In addition, all laptop battery returns must include:
-Laptop Battery 1 sticker on product with serial number
-All original boxes and packing materials provided by manufacturer
-Contain the original UPC codes if available
-All manuals
-All accessories
-All manufacturer documentation
If any return shipment does not contain all of these items or if the item is damaged, your exchange or return request may be denied.
Defective item:
All defective laptop batteries can be returned within 30 days of ship date for an exchange or refund. For exchanges, your warranty period will start on the ship date of the exchange battery. Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer. Laptop Battery 1 will cover the cost to ship the exchange product via Standard Shipping. Any requests for expedited shipping will be paid for by the customer. For refund requests, a refund for the full purchase price of the item will be issued if the product is returned in all original packaging. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. For orders that came with free shipping, a $6.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your total credit.
Non-defective item:
All non-defective products can be returned within 30 days of ship date for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer. All returns of non-defective products are subject to a 15% processing fee. This amount will be deducted from your credit. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.
Damaged item:
If your product arrives damaged, save everything that arrived and contact the Laptop Battery 1 customer service department immediately to begin the process of an exchange.
- Package the battery in safe packaging for return.
Drop your package with the USPS (United States Postal Service). (We recommend USPS Flat Rate Priority which includes a tracking number). Laptop Battery 1 is not responsible for returned product without tracking information. Be sure your name, address and zip code are included on the return.
Please allow 5 to 7 business days for return transit time, plus an additional 2-3 business days upon receipt for the return to be completed and refund to be issued.
