Rating + 4 Citizen Ceramic Watch Review

Was really happy with the initial purchase and speed of delivery of this watch/gift I purchased for my daughter. (Thankyou Watch Locker). She went and had it sized at a jewelry store and after 4 days, the watch broke and fell right off her wrist due to a pin that fell out of the band. Not sure if this was the jewelry store, the Watch Locker or Citizen's fault so I can't place any blame anywhere except that the Watch Locker doesn't accept returns on anything that has been worn according to their return policies which I read online. I also never called them to confirm this though either. My daughter did go back to the jewelry store and had another wristband pin inserted so all is fixed for now. We'll see if anything else goes wrong. Otherwise everything else was a positive experience so all is good.

Rating + 1 Poor Communication Experience

I bought a watch from this seller. Upon receipt, I decided to return it, so I contacted the seller to request an RMA. Several days later, after having received no reply, I tried again. After a fea more days, I contaced NewEgg to report these problems. NewEgg contacted the seller, and still after several more days, I received no reply. I contacted NewEgg again, and they stated they had received a reply from the seller a few days ago, and NewEgg sent me. .pdf with instructions and RMA they received from the seller. I promtply returned the watch, which they will have received today. At no time have I received any contact from the seller at all, and I would not feel comfortable doing business with them again. As for NewEgg, I think I shall limit my business with them as well, and stick more with other Internet sellers. In all, this has been. Very unpleasant experience for me.

Watch was delivered on time as a gift for me.
The watch band was to small to reach around my wrist. The date dial was not readable. Note in box said "Warranty void if band removed". The watch was not useable.
I requested a refund and RMA for the watch through
Neweggs site. It has been 5 days (4 business days) and no reply from Watch Locker. I am very disappointed that they did not even acknowledge the email request for refund. A copy of the request is available.

Rating + 1 Watch Locker **Please Help**

I ordered a citizen watch through watch locker that turned out to be not what we wanted. I followed the RMA process and after a week I have not heard anything back. I tried calling the number in other threads(954-566-6677) and that number is no longer valid.

I am hopeful that Watch Locker will see this review and respond to my RMA request to make this right. This could be a timing thing, but I am starting to be concerned that "The Watch Locker" is not a good place to do business. I will reply if they help me and get back to me.

The watch originally came from somewhere in Florida, so I thought it would take at least a non-business week to get here. I ordered the watch on a Thursday night(8PM) and got it by Tuesday. Probably would have gotten it on Monday, but I think a fedex plane got delayed.

P.S. My friend who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah ordered his
around the same time and got his on Saturday.

P.S.S. Some companies won't allow you to use their warranty's because The Watch Lockers are certified sellers to companies like Citizen so be weary of that. You still get a year warranty and if you want you can still pay for an extended Newegg warranty. My watch that I got was under $100 so I could care less.

I sent a request for Return/RMA, because I didn't like the product and no response from this Seller, I sent another email and still no response after 3-4 days. I really abset and don't recommend anyone to buy from here.

Rating + 3 Be careful about watch warranty

Arrived in a reasonable time. Appeared to be brand new and had no damage. The storage cell was depleted and required extensive charging before the watch would operate. It is important to understand that Citizen may not honor their 5 year warranty, since the seller does not appear to be an Citizen authorized internet retailer. Hence a 2 year separate warranty is supplied, which needs to be activated. This information should be made more clear.

    We offer customers a full refund on returned items minus shipping charges.
    All items returned to TWL must be returned UNWORN, unaltered, in their original, unused condition, in their original boxes and with all paperwork (this includes warranties), parts and accessories to insure any credit. "New and unused" means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the item; tags and protective stickers have not been removed; there are no signs of wear on the product or the case; and the product must not have been sized or altered in any way.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.

On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
