I ordered a set of dampers, when they were the wrong size I ordered more and requested and RMA, after countless emails and unanswered phone calls i was never given and RMA. I then tried ordering more parts and they cancelled my order! will never do business with them again!

choice of fedex is WRONG prefer UPS at least they make an effort to deliver If asked how ship would never accept fedex BTW still do NOT HAVE ORDER!!!!!!

I placed an order with Newegg and cancelled it within minutes after seeing a better deal on a similar item which I purchased. Newegg said I must call Smarthome which I did and was told that they heard from Newegg and it was cancelled. 2 weeks later I get a charge on my credit card for the $4.00 item with a $9 shipping charge.
I am not happy.

My item arrived timely, but was very poorly packed for shipping. The item itself was in the mfgr's box NOT designed for much rough handling (an HVAC fan in a simple light box, no interior packaging in it). Smarthome didn't attempt to mitigate anything that might happen in shipping, but simply threw that box in a much larger box with a cursory strip of a few bubbles (large cells) that did nothing, half of which even had no air. Even a roll of bubblewrap would be an improvement. Tape would be nice. Slipshod. I have no idea how long this fan will last since it was so poorly prepared to be sent to me, and that will make me reconsider any future purchases from this Seller. Fan iself was not mounted on the hub when received. Instr mention nothing about mounting it, so I have to assume it was jostled off its permanent hub. Not good, not happy. It will be mounted in an inaccessible place, so it'd be nice to have confidence in the condition of the product.

They shipped my product the next day and sent me a tracking number, so there's very little to complain about. I would have rather had it shipped UPS, but I'm not taking anything off for that.

    Your return must be within 30 days of shipped date, in new condition and in the original packaging (refunds exclude shipping fees).

    Defective items returned within 30 days will be replaced at no cost to you - we pay for shipping expenses on the replacement of defectives.

    Non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restock fee. Original shipping will not be refunded, and the return shipment will be at the buyer's expense.

    After 30 days please call the manufacturer for defective returns/warranty coverage.

    Smarthome is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in shipment.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
