Rating + 3 Tell me next time.

I ordered one model. But that model is no longer available. So they substituted an equivalent (but different form factor) model. That was good, it probably saved time overall. Thank you. But the way I found out about the substitution was by opening the box and finding something other than what I ordered. Please ask before substitution.

We purchase a TON of laptops from newegg, who has always been fantastic. However, we recently placed several orders with this marketplace store, and have received 2 laptops that were previously used. Box not factory sealed, laptop had already been turned on... Very displeased considering we buy several laptops a month. Will never buy from them again.

Rating + 1 Are you kidding !?!

Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars.
Action Packaged shipped a 4 year old USED drive with scratches and residue on the case. I have been buying from Newegg for 10 years and unless they do something about using sellers like this, this will be my last order from Newegg. I trusted Newegg for almost 10 years with no problems. I don't have time to research their sellers in addition the parts I need.

Can only blame myself for not looking carefully before ordering. Had a rush job and not much time to search around, ordered same HDDs as newegg stocked directly, only realized they were not newegg and charged more than newegg after the fact. The HDDs i've received were labeled DELL instead of WD, so no warranty through the manufacturer. The seller attempted to substitute one of the RE4 drives with a WD green. I agreed to a 30$ charge to keep it and still fulfill the original order of refund the missing drive. The green failed after 2 days of use, warranty check show the warranty expired 3 years ago. Shady all the way around. Do not recommend doing business with.

Rating + 1 Return? yea right...

Tried canceling an hour after ordering and was told I couldn't because it was already in the shipped 3 days later. Got an RMA, shipped it UPS, btw, I never opened the box. Been 8 weeks, no correspondence, no credit to my card and no hard drive since I shipped it back last month. Never knew I was buying from a third party...Safe to say NewEgg is on my Sh.. List...

    No exceptions will be made to these return policies. If you do not agree with these policies or you feel you will be unable to comply with these policies if they ultimately apply to you and your order, please do not place your order with Action Packaged, Inc.™

    Items can be returned within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date of the package. Initial and return shipping will be paid by the customer and a 15% restocking fee will be applied to items that have been opened and/or used for any length of time. Please contact an Action Packaged, Inc. representative at for a return authorization prior to sending the merchandise back.

    All issues, e.g., a customer feels an incorrect item or model was shipped or the condition of item was not as described, must be reported to us within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date of the package. If the issue is not reported within that time-frame, we will be unable to research and try to resolve the issue.

    There are no exceptions to the 30-day window from the confirmed delivery date at the shipping address to report issues with your order or to request a return, including, but not limited to, if the item was given as a gift and the recipient did not open or use the item within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date or if the order was forwarded from the shipping address to another address within or outside of the U.S.

    Cancellation requests can take up to a full business day to research and process. Your order may still ship according to your original instructions within this time-frame even if a cancellation request is submitted.
