Product was defective but Reds Gear took care of the issue promptly. They issued a prepaid UPS label for the returned and promptly shipped out a replacement.

Excellent transaction. Thanks to newegg.com and Redsgear for the really quick shipping (Redsgear is an asset to Newegg, and vice versa).
Knife is really sharp out of the box, and I cannot say enough about the ergonomic design of the knife (especially on the forefinger and thumb). In your hand, it is just solid, and it can do way more than is expected from a knife of its size.

Ordered a fishing rod. Came in a cheap box broke. It wasn't worth the added aggravation to go through new egg then the 3rd party seller to try to maybe get a return. Youll drive yourself crazy dealing with that then have to spend more money to ship it back. In the end I could have just went to the local store and bought it and if there was a problem I could just go right back and return it. Stupid me.

I just received my new fishing rod and it was broke from being shipped loose in a weak box instead of a tube like every other company. Its not worth the aggravation of spending more money trying to return it and hoping for a refund. Lesson Learned.
