I got this bulb in fairly quickly but it worked for one day and went out. I contacted Newegg to have it swapped out and I had to pay the return shipping on it. Insanity! Why should I have to pay the return shipping on your faulty product!

I ordered LMP-H180 for Sony projector. The first one they sent was DOA. The second one was the wrong size.

ordered part and it came in damaged past due date. I air freighted damaged part back to this poor company and the took another day to ship replacement and they shipped ground. all my emails statited i needed the part but they do not give a *^^*%%. don's call them they do not care.
Seller Response:Of course we care and while the customer had reasonable frustration we will always do the best we can to rectify any situation that does not meet thier requirements.

The product is presented as originating from Mitsubishi (not only to fit a Mitsubishi projector). It is stated that the lamp is an original lamp. It is definitely not. You can see looking at it that it is a cheap copy. I'm even afraid of damaging my projector if I am to use it. I do not understand how NewEgg can associate themselves with such a vendor.

Caveat Emptor!
The replacement bulb, while it does function, is most certainly a knock-off. How can I state this? Several points: clearly different construction of the bulb base poor ceramic parts alignment, cheaply connected wire (the OEM has a two wire arrangement to minimize thermal fatigue, this has a larger single wire that will certainly fail with fewer hours), 2D barcode that looks like a photocopy (poor definition), different font of the OSRAM name label, different reflective surface (relatively dull compared to the OEM). The only reason I did not send this back immediately was there is no local store that carried it and we had an important meeting.

AS SOON AS I INSTALLED THIS I STARTING HAVING TROUBLE. SCREEN WOULD FLASH AND TURN DIFFERENT COLORS. TV WOULD TURN OFF AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES WITH STEADY RED LIGHT. AFTER REMOVING IT AND LOOKING AT BULB THE ACTUAL BULB INSIDE WAS ABOUT HALF THE SIZE OF ORIGINAL. PUT ORIGINAL BACK IN AND NONE OF THE PROBLEMS OTHER THAN DIM IMAGE. NOT MUCH SAVING AFTER BOTH SHIPPING CHARGES AND RESTOCKING FEE. NEWEGG SHOULD ALLOW ZERO EGGS. SOME THINGS ARE NOT WORTH ONE EGG.
