Rating + 5 Shipping time was acceptable and product arrived safely.

The item I purchased from this seller arrived within the estimated shipping time. The product was not damaged, and was fully functional when I used it. I had to contact them about an issue I was having with an order, and their responses are very quick. Customer service isn't half bad, and much better than some more popular brands I've had to deal with.

Although the product appears to be satisfactory thus far, a heads up must be given that shipping time from China will be excessive.

Rating + 1 System does not detect card

Connected per instructions. When I plug in a usb drive, the drive lights up so it's getting power. Tried it in a Windows 8 and a Windows 10 machine - neither one detected the card. Tried deleting existing usb drivers & reinstalling - the card still does not show up in Device Manager, either as an unknown device or as a USB card. Just not Detected At All!

When I tried to install the driver from Orico, the error message says
'Fresco Logic USB3 Host Controller is not found!'

My past experience with Newegg has, in general, been very positive.
This time, though not directly their responsibility, shipping was more than a little annoying.
UPS rang my bell and by the time I got to the door (a minute or so), the driver was gone. The note left behind required that I drive 1.5 miles from my home to pick up the package at a drop location. This was on the first attempt to deliver the package; not acceptable. So, in the future, if Newegg is going to use UPS to deliver my order, I will reconsider ordering.

Rating + 3 Their CSA did a LOT to make this better... (Original title) If you order from them and they change their mind on the price they will RMA your item without asking you. Shady business practices.

My original rating was 1/5. I came back to update my review after the Orico CSA, Abby, went above and beyond to make it better. Orico does have a very good customer service department and they made up for the initial problem with the warehouse. They eventually got me the item I ordered and it was on the house. This effort is why I increased my rating of them to 3/5. The reason that I didn't do it any higher was that throughout all of the correspondence there wasn't an acknowledgment that their warehouse policies and procedures where going to be reviewed. Its just my opinion but I don't think the warehouse should have the ability to cancel an order - and that is what appeared to have happened when I placed my order.

The Customer service does give me hope that this company will fix their shipping/ordering/warehouse problems so others won't have to deal with some guy in a warehouse canceling the order 'just because'.

Stay away from this company - they may change their mind on selling you an item and just cancel it like they did with me and THEN want to still take more than 2 days to refund the money I paid for the item they never sent. I placed an order for an item that was a Flash Sale. I guess I may have missed the time block by a few minutes but when I placed the order the price was still the sale price. Apparently Orico doesn't think that a processed transaction means anything. I placed the order for the item and paid the price that was listed. Without even contacting me, I received an email saying that I had requested an RMA (I did NOT) and then a few minutes later I received an email saying that the item had been received at their warehouse. When I called Newegg about it the information they had was that the item was refused at delivery. I call complete B-S. When looking at the tracking number it never even got past "Label Printed". This was just a way to get out of selling an item at a price they decided was too low. Not to mention, a computer part costing less than $20 wouldn't require any kind of special acceptance by FedEx (the supposed shipper). FedEx would have left it at my door had Orico actually shipped it. The only thing I can think is that it was more important to try and sell the item I bought for $25 instead of $15 at the risk of losing a customer. It worked. Orico won't get any of my business. I would urge Newegg to take a look at the history of Orico's orders and try to determine if this is a common practice or not. If it is, Orico has no place doing business with a reputable business like Newegg.com.

New info.... Their representative, Abby, did her best to try and make the situation right so I will give them that. Ultimately I still think they have a problem with their shipping group. I'm not changing my opinion of the company overall though.

Orico makes great products at great prices, bottom line. I have two of their USB hard drive docks and two of their power strip / charging port products. Build quality is great and functionality is perfect. Couldn't be happier and will buy from them again.

    We offer only fine quality merchandise. If you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly accept returns within 30 days from receipt of merchandise. At your request, we will issue you a credit back to your account, or exchange the merchandise. By placing an order, you agree to the following return policies and Instructions.

    All returns must include the following or it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost:
    • Product purchased from our Newegg Marketplace store ONLY
    • Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
    • All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
    • Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
    • Valid RMA number obtained from website or customer service for the correct product and order (follow below return instruction to apply RMA#)

    Additional Return Requirements and Policy:
    1. An RMA number must be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of the delivery date. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. No restocking fee will be applied on return for DOA/Defective and shipping damaged product. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold with "free-shipping", we will refund the amount of sale.

    2. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.

    3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise explicitly states on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed).
