Rating + 1 Scam, swapped item, disgrace to Newegg's Reputation!

Item#: 9SIA1FW0CJ5344 GSAstore New Model Bluetooth ® Keyboard and Case for Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (Model: P3113) - Color: Black Now for the item I got... Not as described above, not black in color (aside from the "Snap-on cover" that the keyboard is actually in...) In no way is this "COVER" a case, and in no way, does it look anything like the item I paid for on Item functions as described, but the fake $60 savings was made up by sending me a much cheaper item! The item I received as a gift for my wife, did not offer protection for the back of our Galaxy Tab 2, however it snapped right on the face, and fit so well, we thought we would break one or the other devices... This is not suggested, I was never contacted about the swap! The box was soft from moisture, so not a wrap-able gift idea! Overall ruined the meaning for making this a gift to my wife! Glad now, to know poor items/quality is now sold here... :\

Rating + 4 Bluetooth case/keyboard

Item was easy to hook up to Tablet thru Bluetooth,
but according to spouse, the keyboard was less than responsive and would recommend a better product! Case was of good enough quality for the price!
I would spend more for better quality!

Customer service was excellent. I was originally sent a malfunctioning keyboard. Immediately after I contacted the seller I was sent a replacement keyboard. The first keyboard wouldn't type several of the letters and also it wouldn't type periods at all, so I couldn't type a sentence, let alone end a sentence (making it basically useless). This new keyboard seems to type all of the letters properly; but it, too, won't type the period. :-( I guess I can use the tablet's onscreen keyboard to end my sentences, but I wish the period key would work. Period. Also, this new keyboard doesn't fit properly into the case that came with the original keyboard; but I suppose I can live with that. One star for the first keyboard, 3.5 stars for the replacement keyboard, and 5 stars for customer service (total = 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars).

The keyboard does not work. It worked fine for the first few days then certain keys will not type on the keyboard. I find it absolutely frustrating.

RMA Policy
    You may return new, unopened items sold by GSAstore within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. <br><br>
    You have to obtain an RMA before shipping the product back. The RMA should be shown on the package. <br><br>
    Items should be returned in their original product packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error or product received is defective. In the event that product returned is missing parts we reserve the right to reject the refund. <br><br>
    We ship all products via USPS with tracking. Products that have been scanned by USPS as delivered or notice left are considered delivered. Lost or stolen are not refundable. <br><br>
    You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.

On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.

We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed).
