Rating + 5 Refurb TOSHIBA DR430 DVD Recorder

OK, so bought a refurb unit from the vendor for less than half a new unit costs and the first one arrived in time but was DOA. Shipped it back on their nickle and a replacement showed up a few days later that has (so far) been working fine.

Sure, everyone wants perfection when they buy something, but the chance of getting a dud with a refurb unit is the risk you take. The prompt action to correct the problem by the vendor exceeded my expectations.

I ordered a “Cree” bicycle light set which I thought was a pretty good deal for $13. There was free shipping and the light kit should have arrived within a maximum of 14 days. After 14 days with no product, I began looking at other reviews for this vendor. At least a few of the reviews read that this vendor said they shipped but the buyer never received the item(s) because they were stolen off the porch (seller alleges). My porch is susceptible to theft like so many, yet (fingers crossed) it has yet to happen. A round this same time an RMA is issued and I get a refund for my money. I gave this vendor two stars because I did not have to fight with anyone to get my money back or prove my order was not stolen.

Rating + 1 Seller not helpful

Seller took a long time to respond to request to return item. Seller then did not respond to request to provide prepaid label. Seller kept stating that my email address wouldn't accept link to label (not true) Newegg had to contact seller to get anything going. Seller finally provided label. To date (a month after process began) Seller has not refunded purchase and keeps stating they will send a replacement item even when I have asked for a refund.

Rating + 5 Good Quality product and quick shipping.

I was expecting my item to be shipped to me on Thursday and got it on Tuesday. (Ordered it on Friday). The product I received works perfectly and I can't wait to use it. The only thing I didn't like is that it didn't come with a manual on how everything works but with some tinkering I was able to figure it out. Good Stuff!

Rating + 1 Broke on 1st walk

Received dog leash hooked up my 12 pound Chihuahua got maybe 100 feet and the recoil spring inside broke.
Do not buy!

Rating + 1 The absolute WORST!

I placed this order and never received this item. They took out insurance to cover them and any losses they might incur but didn't think to request a signature upon delivery for an item that costs over $150. so now they are still charging me for an item that has vanished into thin air. They do not care at all about their customers, they will take your money and run. DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER!!! I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE I placed my order!
Seller Response:This is not about the seller. The order was shipped with insurance in a timely manner, and USPS delivered the package to the address provided by the buyer, confirmed with a delivery scan of the package. Unfortunately when USPS shows a delivery scan to the correct address, they do not allow an insurance claim to be filed. Only in cases where USPS loses or damages the package can a claim be filed. Since the package was presumablt stolen from the mailbox, porch, etc (the buyers premises) they should file a police report and contact their insurance company to recover loss from theft of property.

    We accept returns within 30 days of receipt of shipment. These items must be in new condition with original packaging and accessories. Products that are physically damaged or missing the serial number or UPC cannot be accepted; refunds will not be issued for such items.
