Rating + 1 Poor Foscom RMA Return

Received order fairly quick but unit was DOA out of the box. I had to pay 6 dollars to ship it back. Then they send me an email that I have to pay them 7.00 to ship me a good one? Really? How about sending me a good one to begin with like I ordered. Will not be doing business with Foscom again.

Buyer Beware

Rating + 1 Don't buy from this company

I figured this I purchased the software from this company, they would support it. On the CD cover it the name is Foscam Blue Iris.
When I couldn't get the software to work with my camera, I called, emailed and posted on social media for help.
The company's response was to tell me to contact Blue Iris and that they will not support the product they sold me under their name.
That response guarantees that I will never buy anything from Foscam.

Warning: this seller's RMA policy requires users to pay shipping BOTH WAYS for defective devices returned to them under warranty IF the purchase is made through NewEgg. Tech reps are NOT up front about this information. Nasty surprise once item is sent back -- they demand you pay them to ship a device back to you!

Rating + 5 a lot of cool for a little cash

My first cam. Got it to keep a eye on the house since they are building next tom mine. Set it in the office window looking out. Setup was pretty easy. I could not get the application they provided to work but I only messed with the camera for 2 hrs last night. Viewing through web browsers worked fine. Watching the house on my phone at work today was pretty nice. Going to test out the wi-fi range and other settings tonight.

Rating + 1 Does not know the difference between 2 QTY and 1 QTY.

I ordered the product below, and paid $169.98 for a quantity of 2. When I received my envelope containing the product, there was only one item inside. I attempted to contact the seller to let them know an error has been made before posting this review. Close to one week later, no action has been taken on this issue.

I received one package at my front door, and inside this one package was one product. I'm not sure if the second item will arrive in a different package, but since there was only one tracking number, I assumed both items would be in the same package.

I have already sent one message, and have received no response. In my first message, I stated that I was billed for 2 quantity and that I have received only 1 quantity in the shipping envelope. I need another shipped out to me. Please do not ignore this message.

Rating + 1 Poor rip-off seller

I cant rate this 0 eggs unfortunately. I ordered two of these cameras and they only shipped one. I took very clear pictures of the boxes they arrived in, and the label and weight make it very clear only one was shipped. Have contacted Newegg and Foscam, only to have Foscam sales tell me a "Newegg" manager will get in touch. This was in Oct of 2013. Still no contact from said manager, or any resolution to this issue 4 months later. Very poor company, and I'd stay away form using them.

Rating + 2 Good camera, awful RMA Service

I previously gave Foscam a great review. I need to amend that. I like their cameras, and they ship products quick. Tech support is Ok. I've used their cameras in a few projects and they work great. If they think you are ready to buy, their sales folks will e-mail you back instantly. But if you have an order issue? Good luck.

Recently, I purchased the wrong color cameras through NewEgg. I cancelled within a few hours, and it was a holiday, so they hadn't packed it yet. They ignored the cancellation and shipped anyway. Never cut open the box; it stayed sealed. It took days to get a response, and then they had me pay return shipping! They refused to do anything. Getting an RMA was a pain.

When I shipped it back, it sat for over two weeks with no response. E-mails ignored, no credit. Opened a case with NewEgg, they finally credited but kept a $45 restocking fee! I had to open a second case to get that credited.

Foscam really needs to revamp their post-sales support and RMA process.

Rating + 1 Horrible Customer service

1 day shipping does not include the slow processing that can take up to 2 days. If you order something on Thursday with 1 day shipping don't expect it to be delivered by saturday. Then you call the company to ask for quick processing its like they don't even want to help you.

Rating + 1 The worst Customer Service on the Planet

Foscam Customer Service is the worst that I have encountered in my Life. I was bounced around from one phone conversation to another. Still no resolution. All I needed was them to provide me with the software key for the copy of Blue Iris I purchased from Newegg.
Currently I own multiple Foscam camera. That may change in the near future. Foscam Customer Service "SUCKS" Zero Stars

Rating + 1 Received only one camera / Bad customer service

Please refer to my Newegg.com rating of the Foscam FI8910W camera. I received a reply from a representative of Foscam US Sales stating that the shipping department would look into the issue. This was on 13 December.

Six days and two follow-up emails later, I have heard no further word from Foscam.

I do not hold Newegg.com at fault here at all. But, I will never do business with this reseller, Foscam, again.

RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.

On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail.
