Blair Technology Group is a computer refurbishing and remarketing company. We specialize in commercial grade equipment procured from government institutions and corporations across the US and Canada. This equipment is brought to our facility in Northern Kentucky, where our staff processes over 60,000 units a year.

Our refurbishing process is the engine that drives our success. Our mission is to provide customers with the highest level of quality at the lowest possible cost. We leave no stone unturned, as we meticulously restore each machine into a product that we are proud to put our name on.

Rating + 2 Finally got it

We ordered a refurbished Dell computer through Newegg from Blair Technology Group. The first one we received was damaged by UPS, the second one sent to replace it was the wrong computer Wrong processor, wrong HD size and wrong OS. After many calls to them we finally received the correct computer.

Rating + 2 Refurbished from Hell

BTG is a refurbisher, that's it. They exist to take old comuters, slap a new OS in them and get 'em out the door. I got a HP 8400 from them via newegg. Granted, they 'honored' the warranty 10 months into a year long warranty, but I had to pay $60 to ship it to them. Then 3 weeks of me emailing them, them saying this and that. Finally, they SAID they hade to replace the MBoard, and it was on its way back. I just opened the box and its OBVIOUSLY been dropped on a corner; the face falls off, trim falls off, the cover won't lock on... and i haven't even tried to fire it up.

Moral of the story; I'll never buy refurbished again. Nor from Blair Tech. Probably not from Goodegg.. buy local so that IF something goes wrong, there's someone you can physically go to and bug until they FIX it...

Rating + 3 Broken parts on arrival

I bought a computer for my brother from Blair Tech. It came with in 3 days after i ordered it which is great. When i plug it in and turned it on it work. The windows screen came up and when through all its setup menus and worked great. The only problem is when i put a disc in the disc drive it didnt read the disc. The tray would come out take the disc bring it back in but nothing would happen. So luckly i had a spare disc reader from another computer that i was able to install and use.

Pros: Fast Shipping, Quality products, Reasonable pricing,

Cons: May come with broken parts, so be careful

Rating + 1 Bad customer support

Does not return emails within a reasonable amount of time. Nor does the company send you tracking information once item is shipped. It seemed they actually refunded me when I asked. Then 3 days later, they recharged my account and sent tracking info the day before the product came.

Rating + 3 Beware read everything very carefully

I was disappointed in the cd/dvd drive it only reads and is a wast to even include it for the difference in price they could have easily had a drive that would at least write cd's being as the first thing they say is to back it up. I mainly purchased it for the software and the hardware was just an extra so for that I can't complain. The system would not boot up on the first try I had to try to restore the system before it would even boot. So no points for that. I did purchase a cd/dvd Drive for $20.00 to make the system workable for moving and copying files. I did find the fact that there was only a 2 1/2 inch drive in a base unit rather than the standard 3 1/2 drive I would have expected in a desktop unit. If you don't know a lot about computers i would advise you not to buy this type of a unit. It does have everything they said but was very disappointed that they would only put a ROM drive in any unit other than you need it to load any software these days it's a waste considering

We are probably up to 20 refurb PC purchases now from Blair. The quality is excellent, delivery prompt. We experienced one questionable hard drive & they immediately replaced it without any long drawn out process. The one year warranty is what really sells us on Blair. With that warranty it makes putting a refurb into one of our customer facilities a safe bet.

Very fast shipping, Ordered Saturday, shipped Monday, Wednesday I received the laptop was waiting next to my door. Now I can do my homework and projects before deadline (I am a student). Although I want to complain about Fedex how they left it at the door without ringing the bell!. So the seller might want to inform Fedex about this.

Laptop is Dell Precision M4400 Refurbished. It is very clean and comes with Win7 Pro with product key.Very clean, I would have mistook it for a new laptop except for 2 very faint dead pixels spots that appear at high contrast or white screens, and sometimes I forget about them unless I want to search for them, LOL, not a deal breaker since I have extra WXGA+ screens from my dead laptops.

The laptop is service friendly, easy to repair and upgrade everything in it. Very happy with this business laptop.

Customer service is very responsive, they replied to my email at 7 o'clock in the morning,

Overall Excellent Seller will buy again if I need something :)
