Rating + 1 Poor Shipping

Not sure what happened, but some how my package ended up down the wrong street. I ended up finding it at the Local Post Office, even though FedEx shipped it. When I got my package my apartment information was not found? Not sure what happened there. Something happened with third party shipping labels, per FedEx. I also did not receive a receipt for my purchase? Don't get me wrong the product was great no complaints, but the shipping has some serious issues, also a receipt for my product would have been nice! If shipping gets fixed I'd rate it a 5, however I'm not sure if I will order again from this seller until the problem is fixed.

Read a bunch of other lower reviews for Tech For Less. I was VERY apprehensive about purchasing from them.

I ended up taking a chance and got a refurbished Galaxy Tab 3 8.0" from them. Standard free shipping was surprisingly fast and the tablet arrived like new.

Overall, I could not be happier with my purchase. The whole transaction was flawless and the item was perfect.

Despite the reviews I was Impressed with the response to my problem and the resolutions. They offered replacement or refund for a defective Item. I chose to replace the Item, The representative was Courteous and Professional. Sent my RMA and I shipped out the Item with ease. My replacement arrived in well order with packaging and I am More than satisfied. Thank you for you prompt response and resolutions. A++

Rating + 5 Hey, it's refurbished.

It's probably not easy to deal in refurbished parts. I had an item arrive damaged, but as soon as I contacted customer service they were very polite and quick to act in replacing the part. If I saw a refurbished part I needed for a custom build and it was available from this seller, I wouldn't hesitate to order it from them.

Customer Service seems polite. Will be calling again today. Still have yet to receive order from 3 weeks ago. The products sold from Newegg directly came without issue. Techforless shipped one (never arrived) and then shipped another (didn't arrive either).

Rating + 1 Ineffective and unattentive service

I purchased a refurbished item from them that came without all the parts. I followed procedure for order inquiries and the seller has failed to reply to date (It has been 10 days). This experience has taught me to only buy when NewEgg is the seller as it seems some sellers use the Marketplace as an online Flea Market.

Sent a used printer that didn't work. Was not even a US printer shipped with a foreign plug. Toner dust was all over inside and out. It was a used printer bought new.... worst purchase on newegg ever.

Received new item, in good order (well the box was pretty beat up - probably why it was sold as "refurbished" - but the product was new, and unopened), in good time. Works great. No *real* problem with purchase. *Will* do business again.

But! (LOL.)


I ordered the Rosewill RCR-AK-IM5002 (75 in 1 Internal Card Reader USB 2.0). I received the RCR-AK-IM5001. The difference is the 5002 uses SATA power, the 5001 Molex power. When I placed the order, I wanted the SATA power version. As it turned out, I needed the Molex power version lol. So "alls well that ends well".

RMA Policy
    •We have a 30 Day return policy and if there does happen to be an issue, we will work with the customer to make it right!
    •Tech For Less, not the Customer, arranges for and pays all shipping costs related to authorized, defective returns.
    •For non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for their original and return shipping costs. Tech For Less will provide a pre-paid return label for convenience but the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the customer's authorized refund. A non-defective return will be charged a 15% restock fee.
    •If a defective product was purchased from Tech For Less as Factory Sealed, Open Box, or Refurbished, the manufacturer Warranty applies. Please contact the manufacturer first for assistance.
    •If the manufacturer is unable to assist, please contact our Customer Service Department to arrange for shipment to our repair center. Just as is required when shipping an item to the manufacturer for warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping the item to us. We will ship the repaired item back to the customer at our expense.
    •If Tech For Less cannot reproduce the reason for a defective return, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs and will be charged a 15% restocking fee unless the product is shipped back to the customer at their expense.
    •Returned product must be complete, in original boxes and packaging materials and contain all software, accessories, and blank warranty cards provided at time of original purchase. Customer will be charged the replacement cost of missing, damaged, or altered products and accessories.
    •Software may be returned only if the factory seal remains intact and is subject to the remainder of this policy.
    •In the event that a product received by the customer is defective and the product has been removed from the country after delivery within the USA, the customer must return the product to the ship-to address listed on the invoice, and then Tech For Less will provide a shipping return label for the return to Tech For Less. Tech For Less will not be responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees related to this return. Taking a product permanently out of the USA may void the warranty. Please check with individual manufacturers for specifics and consider one of our extended warranties for added peace of mind.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
