I paid for expedited 3-5 day shipping. Ordered the product the night of June 2nd, it wasn't shipped until June 6. Following the tracking it may be here tomorrow which is June 12, so FedEx is definitely living up to their end. I have an extremely unsatisfied client now. Time to fulfill the order and get it to the shipper was highly unsatisfactory. Not sure why I wasted the money on the faster shipping? I understand a couple of days, but almost an entire business week? I order a lot (5-6 orders a week most times) and never have had a 3rd party seller take so long to ship. That was also why I purchased this item from Newegg, I was surprised to find a laptop screen for the actual laptop I am working on here on Newegg in the first place, so I never went to any other site to even look at pricing. I figured hey I always get things quickly from Newegg. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth with the 3rd party seller option. Not sure if I will do that again. want to give 0 eggs, but I can't

Rating + 1 Failure to ship!

I place an order for a replacement laptop screen around Noon on 4/4/1014, now 10 days later my order has yet to even ship. My account was charged for the product 4/8/2014. 5 days after I received a tracking number the product is still at their warehouse! I also paid for expedited shipping (which is not pointless). I have now contacted the company 2 times, still waiting for a response!

I will never recomend this place or order from them again!

I ordered a laptop computer screen for my Dell Studio 1458 Laptop which matched all the criteria of my screen, Dell Studio 1458 Laptop Replacement Screen 14.0" WXGA HD LED. However, it did not work. It was from Chimei which was supposed to be compatible with my original screen by Optronics. I tried repeatedly over 2 weeks to get through to customer service by phone to solve the screen problem. I left multiple messages to have ThomaScreens get back to me when they could. All to no avail. This company just does not have any real customer service. The only reason I tried them was because I have purchased many items at Newegg and never had a problem. ThomaScreens is a poor company. In my opinion, they should be dropped from Newegg's marketplace.

Certain laptop models come in different screen sizes, resolutions and backlights. For instance, Dell M1330 may have LED or CCFL backlight. IBM-Lenovo ThinkPad T60 was released with either 15.4" or 15" or 14.1" screen size and these screens are not interchangeable. Macbook Pro 15.4" screens come in different resolutions and they are not interchangeable as well.

It is absolutely imperative that size, resolution and backlight of the original screen are the same as of the selected screen for purchase. Please examine carefully the screen description. If you are still unsure please, please ask us. You may also upload pictures of the back of your original screen that you are replacing. Please focus on labels (so the numbers are legible) and connectors and also include full shot of the back of the screen.

Manufacturers typically do not publish screen compatibility information and even if they do there are occasional mistakes in their manuals and specifications on their websites. Therefore the only sure way to get 100% correct screen is to check the size, resolution, and backlight.

NOTE: Screens for Dell laptops must be chosen by the laptop model number ( i.e. Inspiron 1525 ). Choosing by the original screen model number can lead to wrong selection.

I received my lcd and it didn't fit the unit it was supposed to, They also use FED-EX to ship items, beware. Good communications though.

Quick shipping with quality products. My replacement LCD screen was packed well and arrived ahead of schedule. However, lack of communication was an issue. My entire order accidentally ran through twice via NewEgg mobile app. Emailed sellers and NewEgg immediately after order was placed to cancel the one order and process the other. All 4 other sellers responded ASAP and were able to resolved the issue, but I never heard back from this seller; and received/was charged for the 2 replacement LCD screens instead of 1. Will be placing an RMA, but would have been nice to avoid the hassle and wait time for a refund. Would try and conduct business with again based on the pros listed above.

I received an LCD and was damaged. I tried to many times contacting the seller by phone and no one returned the call. the did contacted me by email promising to send a replacement as soon as they receive the damaged lcd. they did not replaced the screen yet after 15 days of the sale, however when I contacted them by email 2nd time she still asking me about the order number.
