Rating + 1 Falsely Advertised Product

I bought a 9-cell battery for a Dell Inspiron N5030 as it is stated to work in that model of laptop. Upon receiving it I installed it into the computer. This battery is a larger battery than the standard 6-cell causing it to stick out the back. while this shouldn't be a problem. it is. The design of the battery prevents the laptop from opening more than 40%. The bottom of the laptop screen hits the battery and gets stuck.

I emailed the seller about the product and they insisted that the battery fits the laptop. They also stated they would do a return but not refund the $5.99 shipping I already spent on the product and that they expect me to pay for shipping to send it back.

I then sent the seller pictures showing the screen hitting the battery and how far the laptop opens. I also sent a picture showing the part number of the battery matched the part number of the 6-cell in the laptop.

The seller proceeded to continue to insist the battery fit when it does not. The seller still continues to return any shipping charges. This means that I've spent $5.99 to receive the battery and now have to spend approximately another $5.99 to return it. The battery without shipping only costed about $22 and now I'm paying half the cost of the battery in pure shipping fees when the seller falsely advertised the product.

Do not buy from this seller.

Rating + 1 Disappointing customer experience

We ordered a battery from this company, which was lost by USPS. Not their fault; however, they essentially disavowed any responsibility for taking care of us as a customer, leaving us out $46 without the product we ordered for our customer. Of course we couldn't do the same to our own customer, so in a panic, we foolishly ordered a second unit from the same company. When the original shipment arrived 2 weeks late (in a damaged container), they asked us to return the item at our cost, with no refund on the original shipping amount. DiscountBatt doesn't insure its shipments. In the current retail environment, it's astonishing when a company shows such a lack of commitment to taking care of its customers. We'll find another supplier in the future.

Ordered 5 batteries and 5 chargers. The clinic I ordered for received 5 batteries, but only 1 charger. Seller refused to correct the issue and so far Newegg has been of little assistance.

Rating + 1 Package has not arrived

I can't give a rating yet because my package still has not arrived. It's not your fault as it the package has the wrong zip code on it. My zip is 32309 but the zip on the package is 32301 for some reason. Any help you can give me to receive this package is appreciated.

Rating + 1 Awful shipping from seller

I paid for 2 day shipping. Order was placed on 10/3, processed on 10/5 and was scheduled to arrive on 10/8. Flag number one. After 2 weeks, no package. I call Newegg; they email seller since no one can reach them by phone. Flag number two. Seller finally gets back and says by the end of next week, I should have my package so contact them again and they will refund my shipping. The end of that week was 10/23. I receive package on 10/26. I just called and told Newegg that I want a full refund and if they want what I ordered back, someone is going to pay me to ship it too. Newegg, stop working with this bad seller. Anyone you can't contact directly is too shady to run on any reputable site. And that makes YOU look bad.

Rating + 1 Shipping Is A FAIL!

The shipper stated they delivered on Saturday to my office. Well... We don't have Saturday hours and our building has a 24/7 guard! I don't think Houdini helped the shipping company into my suite either! He died October 31 1926! Get another shipping company please!
