Rating + 1 Pirated OS???

The brand new Lenovo L540 came with a blocked or pirated Windows OS and can not be activated. No windows license sticker on the computer or elsewhere... Newegg customer service hung on us and the 3rd party sellers phone number was invalid. Be aware!
Seller Response:Windows 8 does not come with a COA certificate on the bottom of the machine, it is embedded on the MB.

Rating + 5 refurbished laptops

I have recently ordered a refurbished T420 and T420s from Notebook Avenue. Both of them arrived in excellent condition, one can hardly tell they are not new. The battery capacities were 80% and 85%, respectively. Items arrived as described, in fact, the T420s was listed with 4GB memory but it actually came with 8GB, which was a nice surprise. Shipping was lightning fast, too. Looking forward to my next purchase from Notebook Avenue, thanks guys!

Rating + 5 Great follow-up, resolved problem

Purchased an M6800 Laptop configured with 1 single 1TB HDD and 1 empty bay. Laptop came with 2 500GB HDDs instead. I called them and they shipped out a replacement 1TB HDD within 2 hours. They then followed up to make sure I received it. I will absolutely purchase from Notebook Avenue again -they are awesome.

Purchased 7 refurbished laptops (about $1200). 3 did not have active wifi (as described). Also in poor cosmetic condition with serial numbers and product keys missing from most laptops. Used tech support (who was helpful) but could not get wifi in all 7 laptops. Contacted them within 60 replacement policy. Denied they had such a policy, despite sending screenshots of Neweggflash where it said "60 replacement policy" in their product detail page. Contacted Newegg...Who after months of exchanged emails basically said they could not help even though they were sold in their marketplace.

About 5 months 30+ emails between myself newegg and notebook avenue and the issue is still not resolved.

Since I contacted them within the 60 replacement policy, shouldn't I be allowed to receive a replacement (or credit). In addition to the laptops being mislisted?

Right now I have 7 laptops, I am unhappy with that have been used for about 5 minutes each...Not acceptable..
Seller Response:Customer originally contacted us regarding wifi issues on all 10 laptops, when that was resolved by switching the wifis on these laptops by a single switch, a few days later, the customer wanted to return all 10 and this was after 3 months. We would take them back, but the customer did not want to pay for the restocking fee. after customer complained of other issues, we stated if no issues were found, we would still charge the restocking fee. Since then, the customer has left this feedback and has not contacted us for the return. NewEgg Support was involved on this customer RMA.

Seller Response:We have been trying to reach the customer for quite some time, the packaged is signed for and received by the given address and name from new egg. We want to refund the money right way, but we need to confirm on the shipment and to let fedex know that we have spoken to you as well and did not receive it. we have been trying to get in touch with you since you first posted your feedback. We have calling & emailing, to even sending the customer linknd in msges.

My tablet came without working speakers and back light issues. So far its had two failed in home repairs and was sent to the Dell repair depot, yet there are still issues. Thankfully Dell is replacing the system for me, but Newegg and their third party provider were less than helpful and I will NOT be purchasing from either again.

Received it very quick, had an issue with a the fan contact the seller. Seller was quick to respond and replaced the fan. Laptop working like new. Thank You Notebook Avenue. Loved your service so much bough another from them.

    Notebook Avenue provides a limited warranty to the first purchaser of the product(s) it sells and agrees that it will, at its option, either repair the defect or replace the defective product or part thereof at no charge to the purchaser for parts or labor as set forth below, excluding shipping the product back to us. The warranty is for repairs only or replacement at our discretion with equal or similar product after we determine that repair is not possible.


    All used or refurbished NOTEBOOKS and parts / accessories carry a 90 DAYS parts & labor carry in depot limited warranty from the date of original invoice unless published otherwise at the time of purchase.

    Batteries which come with the used/refurbished notebook computers or refurbished portable printers are used so the battery performance may vary. We do not give any guarantees on how long a computer will operate on a used battery and do not warranty the battery.

    The notebooks and parts which carry original manufacturer's warranty, only that warranty is applicable to those products and the manufacturer should be contacted regarding the defect including the batteries in manufacturer refurbished notebooks, covered under manufacturer’s warranty policy. We are not responsible for any delays in warranty handling by the manufacturer or the way manufacturer handles their warranty repair.


    All New NOTEBOOKS and parts / accessories carry a one year parts & labor carry in depot limited warranty from the date of original invoice unless published otherwise at the time of purchase.
    New notebooks carry original manufacturer's warranty and only that warranty is applicable to those products. The manufacturer should be contacted regarding the defects covered under manufacturer’s warranty policy. We are not responsible for any delays in warranty handling by the manufacturer or the way manufacturer handles their warranty repair.

    “AS IS”

    We may sell some products "As is". The products sold "As is" do not carry any warranty.


    The warranty covers only malfunctions or defects occurred during normal use of products. Wear and tear of use, defects occurred under extraordinary conditions or climate are not covered by this warranty. This written warranty is final and cannot be altered or modified.

    All parts, covered under this warranty, including repaired and replaced parts, are covered only for the original warranty period. When the warranty on the product expires, the warranty on all replaced and repaired parts also expires.

    Problems caused by high static or other environmental conditions where the computer has been placed or used. · Any breakage on screen is not covered.

    Any alterations or additions done to the computer. Any modifications or adaptation to the computer to enable its operation in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of product damaged by these modifications.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed).
