Highly Disappointed

Rating + 1 Never Again

This is the first time that I have ordered something off of this website. As of right now it will be my very last. I ordered a treadmill over a month ago and have yet to have it delivered at my house. I am very disappointed with the service I received and am upset that it has taken so long for my product to be delivered.

If friends or family ask my about purchase I will be forced to tell them about my negative experience. Never in my life have I had customer service like this and a product not show up.
Seller Response:Customer ordered machine on 1/26 and wrote the review on 2/18. It had not been a month stated in the review. The product shipped the next day on 1/27. Shipping on all items is 7-14 BUSINESS DAYS. If you have not recieved the machine in this time frame, you should contact us directly and we will work something out. The customer never contacted us directly. We are very sorry for your bad experience and will use it in the future to better our business.

I cancelled my order after waiting for almost a month for it. The invoice said the delivery would take up to 14 days. After about 20 days, I contacted newegg, who said to contact Landon Benson at ProForm. I did, and he never responded. I called ProForm and spent 20 minutes on hold (no exaggeration). The guy I spoke with didn't know what to do, so he forwarded me to another department for another 18 minutes on hold. The shipping company lost it. I mentioned another one of these reviews that said that the reviewer should have contacted ProForm before submitting the review, as ProForm could have compensated for the wait time. The rep said if I would wait up to 10 more business days for the treadmill, they'd give me either a mat or 5% ($22) off. Big deal--the 58 minutes I spent on the phone was worth more than $22, not to mention the close-to-a-month time it took to get to this point. I cancelled my order. Proform is responsible for delivery, no matter how many times they blame UPS.

Rating + 1 Horrible Customer Service

I would give this company negative eggs if I could and very rarely do I give such a harsh negative review. The shipment was damaged in transit and refused by the local delivery company. No fault of ProForm, However for 3 weeks I have been trying to contact them about this. The answers I get are, you will have to wait until we receive the item back so it can be inspected and I will have to wait for a call from the claims department. Why they do not send out another one I do not know. that was 3 weeks ago and I still have heard nothing from the claims department and they always seem to be unavailable when I call. When last I called they could not find any records of my order and Told me I would have to call the return service for a refund, also conveniently closed. AGAIN WHERE IS MY ORDER! So it seems I spent a month waiting on a Christmas present that will never arrive. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS IGNORANT COMPANY. If you do buy from them you better hope it arrives without a hiccup.

We cannot control what the shipper does with the machines once we give them to them, but we can control the customer service part. This does not happen very often. We have had hundreds of orders placed on NewEgg with no problems at all. We are very sorry that you were caught in the middle of this problem. I will inform our customer service team about this and work on solving this issue.

Item arrived as described and on time. I was surprised as it was such a large item (Treadmill). The seller responded to all of my questions in a timely fashion and with accurate information. The shipping company contacted me for delivery and the entire purchase was seamless. Thank you!

Ordered on 11/18/2014. Today is 12/11/2014 and the item has not been delivered yet.
Seller Response:The order was shipped the day after you ordered. We cannot control what UPS does with the machine or how long it takes. It is in their hands once we hand it off to them. We do apologize for the wait time. Please contact us directly instead of writing a bad review before you recieve a product. We could have compensated you for the wait time.

RMA Policy
    We give a 30-day trial period on all products. If you are not satisfied for any reason please call 1-866-896-9777 to set up a return. If you were not charged for shipping on your initial delivery you will only be charged for the return shipping. A 10% restocking fee is also charged on all returned merchandise (unless the merchandise is defective). Returns must be arranged within 30 days of receiving the product. You must receive a Return Authorization number from us in order to return the product.
    The following information is required to obtain a Return Authorization:
    A. Model number
    B. Serial number
    C. Accurate reason for the products being returned
    Products being returned must be disassembled and packaged in the original box or comparable package. If you do not have a box, we can provide one for you.
    Icon is not responsible for the disassembly of the product. Once the product is packaged, take it to your curb and we will send a freight carrier to pick up your machine. Upon receipt at our warehouse we will refund the purchase price (price of machine plus tax) less the restocking and return freight fees. All products must be returned in good condition and with all paperwork, parts and accessories or an additional 10% charge may be added.
    You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Once a Return Authorization number is issued, the product must be returned within 30 days of the issuing date or the Return Authorization number will become invalid. If we are doing an exchange of your product, the unit being returned must be received back to Icon within 30 days from the delivery date of the new machine or you agree to pay Icon the full retail cost of the machine.
    What if I want to cancel my order after it has shipped?
    We will refund the purchase price (price of the machine and tax) less to and from shipping charges. If you were not charged for shipping on your initial delivery you will only be charged for the return shipping fee. If your product(s) has shipped (even if you have not received your machine) return shipping and restocking fees will apply.
    Do you deliver on weekends?
    Deliveries are not made after 6:00 pm or on the weekends. If you have any questions about this, please call 1-866-896-9777.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
