Rating + 1 Poor Customer Service

First of all, I guess the problem started with Newegg. I ordered the product (a SSD), and Newegg absolutely insisted that the shipment had to go to a physical address instead of a PO Box, saying that their shipper does not go to POB's. Okay. So I provide my home address, figuring that the shipment would require a signature.

Then I get an Email saying that it has been shipped via UPS MI - where in my ignorance, I presumed that stood for United Parcel Service Michigan, gaving a tracking number that didn't make sense. I tried the number at UPS, got that it wasn't a valid number, and figured that it was an internal number, and waited for a second email with the "real" number.

Nope. Not the way it worked out. Adorama used some postal service that uses the 'UPS' abbreviation, and the SSD got mailed to my mailbox which sits on the street - where it promptly got stolen.

Once we figured out what happened, the ONLY option we were provided, was to get a refund.

Gee, thanks.

I was worried about shipping, seemed to have very little protection around the tv. But no problems and no dead pixels so I'm happy.

Rating + 1 Poor packing, unhelpful service.

The USB drive I ordered was sandwiched between two sticky padded sheets, which came separated during shipment, leaving me to receive an empty package. When I contacted the seller, they said they couldn't ship another one, and issued a refund instead. Of course, a refund would have been fine if it weren't for the fact that the gift card I used had expired before the refund was issued. Since I'm not a big fan of losing money, I can't give them more than one egg for their lousy shipping and service.

The geniuses oversold their stock (supposedly) yet still have enough to jack up the price $100. Cancelled my order and blamed it on "the system" a few days after my PO. They emailed me with a hollow "we're sorry for the inconvenience" and invited me to repurchase the item for $100 more -- B$. Newegg saved the day and picked up the slack for Adorama. They honored the original price and threw in an extra $25 gift card. I will NOT be doing business with Adorama EVER AGAIN, but will definitely continue to trust Newegg first party. It still reflects poorly on Newegg to have this kind of vendor in their marketplace though.

Rating + 2 Newegg Shipped Me the Wrong Product!

I ordered a Nikon wireless transmitter and receiver for my Nikon Df camera. The products were shipped by Adorama, but between my initial order and delivery, Adorama shipped me another Nikon product that wouldn't even work with a Df. I called Newegg to complain, but they said I needed to contact Adorama to resolve the matter. Adorama fixed the problem by crediting my credit card for the incorrectly shipped item after I returned to the item to them. I don't know which company caused the problem, but this was the first time in more than ten-years of online ordering that I received the wrong product.

i don't even want to rate this seller one egg i never received my item took 3 days to verify then was shipped from ups then handed to usps haven't been updated in tracking since then i called both and ups says they sent it to usps and they tell me that the item is not in there system to call them and good luck contacting adorama with poor service and poor shipping options if bought through newegg

    Return Policy
    For the first 30 days after your purchase you may return merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges. Simply download and fill out the Return Merchandise form. All returns must meet our guidelines.

    Returned or exchanged products must be in brand new, mint condition, and have all original manufacturer's packaging, materials, and accessories, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and blank warranty cards.

    Merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The original manufacturer's labeled packaging should be enclosed within an outer shipping box. Please do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer's packaging.

    Securely package the product and include the filled out Return Merchandise Form and a copy of the original invoice.

    Ship the parcel back to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD or freight collect shipments. We recommend a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance.

    TV Return Policy:
    •TV's Up to and including 47" All TV's up to and including 47" that are sealed in the original manufacturer box (never opened) may be returned within 30 days for a refund. You will receive the purchase price less shipping charges (Items that qualified for free shipping that are being returned will have our standard shipping charges deducted from the refund or credit.) You must insure the product when you ship it back to cover possible damages that may occur during transit. Any free offers that you received along with this purchase must be returned. A fee will be charged for any items that were not returned.
    •TV's over 47" cannot be returned. In the unlikely event a TV is defective the warranty is to be handled thru the manufacturer. When your TV is delivered please inspect the TV for any obvious damage. A broken or damaged outer box is a first sign that your TV may have been damaged in transit. Open the box immediately and inspect your TV. If the TV is damaged, have the driver note it on the delivery document and contact us immediately to report the damage and file a claim.
    Items from the following categories may not be returned:
    •Printers cannot be returned once toner, ink, or ribbon cartridges have been installed.
    •Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, iPads and Computers cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or unwrapped.
    •Underwater photography equipment cannot be returned once it has been used in water.
    •Cell phones and smart phones will only be accepted for credit or exchange if they register less than 10 minutes cumulative talk time and show no sign of use. Defective phones will be exchanged for the same model only.
    If the above conditions are not met, Adorama has the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
