We are Microsoft Authorized Refurbishers and restore previously owned electronics such as laptops and handhelds back to their original fully functional condition. We test all components and perform a fresh installation of the operating system and primary drivers. Any listed addittional software will also be freshly installed. The original battery is typically included therefore we can not guarantee the charge time. A power cord will also be included. These devices will typically have slight signs of wear but they will be cosmetic only and will not affect functionality. We guarantee that all primary components will be working normally out of the box.

Any device that arrives at your location with a defect must be reported to us within 5 days of it's receipt. We will than offer you the option of a return with a full refund or a replacement. We will pay for return shipping. The unit must be returnd in the condition in which we shipped it. If you add or upgrade any software including the operating system you may void our warranty if we discover you have not done so correctly.We reserve the rite to charge a 15% re-stocking fee on all items that are found to have been tampered with or that are returned with alterations or modifications that we did not authorize.

Hardware defects that occur during the first 30 days are covered by our standard repair or replace warranty. Batteries are not covered by this warranty. We will either repair your unit or ship you a replacement of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover software that we did not include, or viruses.

We will not warranty any device that has been shipped outside of the continental USA. Any devices shipped to a third party will only be covered by a repair or replace warranty that begins when the purchasing party originally takes delivery.

Rating + 2 Don't expect a good battery with these machines

Within a couple months of using the laptop, the battery is completely shot. Apparently I'm outside the warranty and now I have to basically use this laptop as a desktop

Rating + 5 Refurb Lenovo Thinkpad T420

Refurbishment was well done. Unit looks essentially brand new!

As others have mentioned, the shipping was fast and well packaged.

Customer service was quick and friendly.

Atlanta Electronics is definitely worth recommending if you're in need of a good refurbished and cheap laptop.

I have not gotten my laptop computer yet, but these folks called me to check on a question they had about my address, and got my order out within hours of my placing the order. So far it seems like they are great on the customer service end of things. Very polite and thorough.

Rating + 1 Good product, poor customer service

a week after my order I reached out to the seller for tracking information since I received the first one so quickly and since the tracking number provided through email was not a real tracking number. Seller was very rude and even though I emailed them through Newegg's website, they said that they couldn't confirm my identity so they couldn't provide any information. When I emailed them back confirming my identity they told me that they couldn't respond for fear of fraud, even though I was emailing them through the website. After being treated like that I called Newegg to get them involved and they received the same runaround from the seller. Currently I have been trying to get a refund for two weeks and no luck. I called Newegg again, and the seller informed them that they didn't notice the order and never sent out the item... So now I am waiting to see if I will ever get the refund.
Seller Response:This buyer is mistaken. We received three e-mails from someone who's name was NOT on the order. NOT JOE for example . Since the first and last name did not match the order, we could not reveal tracking. This negative comment is very unfair as we explained this twice and also explained it on the phone. WE CAN NOT GIVE TRACKING TO YOU UNLESS YOUR NAME IS ON THE ORDER this can allow fraud. This policy protects the buyer and the seller and we will not change it.

Atlanta Electronics offers five star service. Completely recommend. Very fast delivery of PC, exceptionally professional, and will definitely use in the future. Rating + 5 Better than expected customer service

My rating is a little late, because I really had nothing to report for quite some time - which is a good thing. Laptops arrived promptly, in the condition described, with the correct software, and operating fine.

After a few months, I began to experience some issues with one of the machines. I contacted the seller, and they quickly helped me to resolve the problems to my satisfaction. In past experience, many sellers would not offer such support.

I feel good about giving them a full reccomendation

I order 2 dell laptops and received both of them within 4 days of my order. Unfortunately one of the screens was broken so I called and left a voice mail. The company called me back that day in less than 2 hours and resolved my issues. I will buy from them again in the near future. Both of my computers worked without any issues and my daughters are very happy with their new laptops.

I received a DOA unit and was concerned that I would have a hard time getting a replacement. Nothing could be further from the truth. In addition to receiving an immediate email response, I received the replacement in 48 hrs. Big thumbs up to the seller!

RMA Policy
    If item is reported as Defective on Arrival within 5 business days of reciept we will pay return shipping and offer a full refund. After 5 days but in under 30 days the buyer must pay return shipping for a repair or replacement. The item must be in substantially the same condition with no software modifcations, viruses or physical damage. After 30 days the warranty is over but we may offer a discouned repair as long as the buyer pays all shipping costs.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
