Rating + 5 Dead HD, quick turnaround

I was initially wary buying from a seller on Newegg but when my hard drive died 4 months after buying it their customer service was quick, courteous and professional. Replacement HD is up and running with no fuss and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

Rating + 5 Extremely fast shipper!

Received my order on 3-day priority mail the first business day after it was placed (it was over a weekend). My only concern is whether or not I can borrow your time machine.

For hard drives, packaging is critical to getting a quality product, especially bare drives. My order came individually bubble-wrapped and placed snugly in a carton, inside a standard USPS bubble sleeve. I can't imagine making more effective choices without adding several levels of aggravation to the unboxing process. It's simple, smart, and effective.

TL,DR; I was so happy with this seller I tracked down the Marketplace review form.

As soon as I took it out of the package and plugged it into my PC it started making this really horrible noise. Turns out that the control arm is broken, causing it to reset position causing extreme lag and poor functionality.

Rating + 1 The absolute worst

The packaging is a trap. IThe package was a box holding hard drive with a receipt on top and "wrapped" with a single layer of bubble wrap. The bubble wrap was actually just folded around the hard drive and receipt, and wasn't even taped shut. I opened the box, saw a layer of bubble wrap with a receipt underneath, pulled up on the bubble wrap, the bubble-wrap unfolded, and out falls the hard drive 4 feet to the floor. The first time I laid eyes on the hard drive, it was laying on the floor.

I will never buy anything from this dealer ever again simply because of the packaging. The drive might have been ok when I got it, but it was destroyed by the packaging before I could even see it.

Rating + 5 4 3TB Seagate Hard Drives

Hard drives were not properly packed and on their three thousand mile trip across the country, they were damaged. Seller was quick to respond, paid for return shipping, refunded my original payment, and threw in an extra 25.00 which basically paid my original shipping fee. For that reason I would do business with them again.
