Rating + 1 Bait and switch

Ordered a Nikon lens from Always.Deals which was listed with a five year Nikon warranty. However the item received was a grey market import with has no Nikon USA warranty at all. Seller did not respond when contacted and they continue to list this with a five year warranty.

Rating + 1 Wel,l the guy on the phone was nice.

1. Order ipad.
2. Wait 5 days, no shipment notification. Send email.
3 Get shipment notification next day, but no further info. Wait 5 days
4. Miss Fedex deliver, call fedex to make arrangment to electronically sign, find shipment is locked, have to call shipper.
5. Call shipper, find that they are unwilling/unable to allow me to e-sign for package (which I do with UPS all the time).
6. Take day off from work to wait for kids Christmas IPad. Fedex arrives early in the morning with an epson printer addressed to me. Deny delivery.
7. Call shipper. They will ship out an ipad as soon as they receive their printer back. Since it was denied it will be a quicker turn around of 2 days, rather then however long it takes to do the RMA thing. YAY!
8. wait another week for package to arrive, Thankfully in-laws are home. Ipad delivered.

Rating + 1 Deceiving product offering

Purchased a 35mm Nikon camera lens advertised with a 5 year warranty. Lens received was a gray market (imported) lens with a one year warranty that will not be serviced by Nikon USA. I contacted the seller to inquire about why I didn't receive the lens as advertised and they only sell gray market lenses for the lens I purchased. I contacted Newegg who informed me the seller has full control over the item description. Still AlwaysDeals has not changed it to state this is an imported lens without a 5 year warranty (which Newegg requested they do on my behalf). They continue to knowingly lie to potential customers (I have checked the page multiple times over the past month to see if any changes were made after I complained).

Seller did offer refund, but I have to pay to return a falsely advertised product which is still dishonest.

Rating + 5 Great Customer Service

I bough a printer from them for an amazing price. It arrived withing couple of days. However, when printer was first taken out of the box and set up it became evident that something was wrong (critical error preventing printer from booting). One call to their rep and problem was solved. I sent out my damaged unit and withing a day and a half I had a new printer!! Now thats what I call customer service

This seller lists refurbished items on the Newegg website as new, when in fact they are refurbished. When you refuse delivery for the item, they only issue a partial refund and keep the rest. Stay away!!

I would rate no eggs if possible. I ordered a iPad and got a Cannon Copier. How can you be so wrong. Now I will have to deal with a return with a company that apparently can't read english. I am NOT happy. I need an iPad not a project!

    Returns for Sealed & Unused Merchandise is allowed within 30 days of shipping the item to customer. Please email us at to request an RMA number (a Return Merchandise Authorization). Shipping and handling fees are the costs of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. Per Newegg’s policy, return postage is on the buyer. In the event an item is sold with no shipping fees to the customer then Click Go and Buy will refund the amount of sale, less "actual shipping costs" to customer. There is a 15% restocking fee for returns.

RMA instructions
