Ordered a riser card and 3rd cooling fan for a SuperMicro server. Product was delivered the same day as the bulk of the other parts of the order. I'm sure CA Server Pro will be seeing future business from me based upon reasonable pricing and quick delivery.

Rating + 1 Phuucking B5!

Bought a more expensive drive for the mere sake of the 5 year warranty. Receive it, check the serial, guess what? It's OEM. Go back to the Newegg page and recheck the warranty there, now it says 1 year. Obviously someone changed it, so why didn't this someone inform me first to check if it was cool with me?

Like if I wanted a drive with as high failure rates as this to only have a 1 year warranty, wouldn't it be logical that I just purchase a much cheaper drive? Like WT-EFF?

I don't think I'll be doing any more business with these people.

PS It took 5 days just to get this shipped out. 1 stoopid drive!

Rating + 4 Great customer service, pricey shipping

Ordered a chassis that was discontinued by the manufacturer, CA Server Pro got in touch and recommended alternatives. I've chosen to go with CA Server Pro whenever possible as a result of their service, but as an employee at a company that handles hundreds of orders per month, I wish their expedited shipping was more reasonable and accurately calculated.

Rating + 5 Updated review: CA Server Pro replaced 1 of 3 DOA

I received 1 of 3 drives DOA, contacted Newegg and was told I had to return to HGST not CA Server Pro. After a few emails back and forth CA Server Pro contacted me, emailed me a label for an RMA then sent me a replacement drive. I am now happy and will recommend CA Server Pro as a customer service conscious vendor. Thank you CA Server Pro!

Rating + 1 Bad Packaging == 2 of 3 HDDs DoA

The disks arrived in sealed anti static bags solidly packed into a box with hard foam, which has no give, ensuring that any shock to the outside of the box was transmitted directly to the hard drives. They might as well have been mailed wrapped in brown paper. Two of the three were DoA.

I contacted CA Server Pro for an RMA, and they asked me for serial numbers. They then asked for a tracking number for the returned drives. So I went to the post office and shelled out $23 to ship disks back that were damaged due to the sellers incompetence.

The replacement disks also came poorly packed, in a box so jammed full of hard foam that it was bulging. Fortunately the drives themselves were in shock absorbing clam shells, so they survived the ordeal.

Given the other reviews of CA Server Pro this seems to be a pattern. I'll never buy anything from CA Server Pro again. These folks have no clue how to ship hard drives. I wish that I had seen that Newegg sold the same product...

Rating + 5 Excellent customer service

I purchased three hard drives from this seller; two worked perfectly out of the box, though the third was not recognized by my drive enclosure, even after switching bays. I contacted the seller, who arranged an RMA. I sent back the defective disk and received a replacement within a few days. While the communication was terse, they were responsive to my inquiries during the RMA process and the replacement drive worked properly.

Would happily purchase from this seller again.
