I will not buy from Coretek Computers again simply due to the lack of communication. After over a week of calling, and emailing, and trying to contact them I received absolutely no feedback at all. However they did finally fix my issue despite never talking to me in any shape or form. The problem was they completely did not include an Nvidia Quadro GPU in a refurbished desktopI had bought.

Had a few hickups IE: Missing part, but I contacted them and they called me and took care of it right away. Didnt have to pay for the shipped part either !. They care about taking care of you in the end and thats all I care about.

Rating + 4 Good improvement over Surface RT

The Surface 2 showed minor signs of wear on the metal body but the screen was flawless. The type cover was in excellent condition and almost looked new. The battery life is still good and lasts as long as my Surface RT that I bought new a few years back. I was under the impression that a case was included per this description: "Keyboard & Protective Case Included". Sadly, they meant that the keyboard also serves a protective case so you do not get a separate protective case.

Rating + 5 Very fast delivery and item in excellent condition

Refurbished equipment is always a gamble... you really never know what you're getting condition wise. The MacBook we got from them was in excellent shape with only a little wear on the bottom of the case. It was packaged very well and had no issues getting the machine booted up and configured right away.

I will look for this company again with the next refurbished computer I get.

Recommend Coretek. Very good price for classic MacBook. Immediately max'ed out ram and added SSD. Runs like a 2016 computer now. Total investment less than $400.

Rating + 5 Absolutely Great Experience Buying Refurbished iMac

Buying a refurbished computer online can incorporate a bit of anxiety. I checked the ratings for Coretek and they all seemed positive so I took a chance. I couldn't be happier. The computer I got (and the price!!!!) are fantastic. I was beyond impressed with the condition and everything was as the description said it would be.

I purchased a refurbished iMac running El Capitan and that included a keyboard and mouse (convenience is key!). When the computer arrived it was very well packaged - impressively packaged, actually - and easily set up (once I got through the packaging). The computer looks new - no noticeable scratches or dents even around the USB ports, and the OS and software included where just as the description said. Then we hit a snag! The keyboard didn't register with the iMac! We tested and tested and it was a keyboard issue, not a computer issue. I emailed into Coretek, detailed our process, and asked for a new keyboard. They shipped a new one the same day! No question or hesitation. The computer, the service, the follow-through, is what customer service and the potentially stressful situation of buying tech online should be.

This is my first experience with a refurbished computer and with buying from a supplier out of state and I will be returning to look for Coretek products in the future. They have shown their integrity and are clearly reliable. Thanks to them for taking some of the worry out of a major purchase and getting me back online after an unfortunate laptop crash.

    If your item qualifies for a free, pre-paid shipping label, then the label and return instructions will be sent to you via email. Please print your free pre-paid shipping label as soon as possible. Once you print it out, then please tape it to the box and bring it to the carrier listed on your label. The typical carrier we use for returns is UPS, As long as you give it to the carrier assigned to that RMA your item will be returned to us with no questions asked.
    If you did not qualify for a prepaid shipping label, then you may use any carrier you like to return the item to us. Please write the returns center address on the outside of the shipping box, along with your order or invoice number. Additionally, please send us the appropriate tracking information so we are able to verify that the item has been delivered to our returns center.

    In either case, your return does not have to be back in our warehouse within 30 days, but it does have to be in the possession of the shipping carrier within 30 days. Once given to the carrier, the carrier has up to 14 days to return the item to us. We encourage you to get tracking and insurance so you can assure your return is received and processed without issue.
    If we determine that you are ineligible for an RMA, then please contact the manufacturer to see if they may assist you under the terms of their warranty.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
