We want your experience with us to be easy and hassle-free If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return most items within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or refund. Please note that all returns require an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which can be easily obtained online.
You can return the purchased items within this time period for an exchange or full refund (less shipping charges) subject to Return Conditions. Items must be returned in NEW (unopened, unused, untested, and resalable) condition, in the original manufacturer packaging, with all the original contents included. There is no restocking fee for returns of items meeting the above mentioned conditions providing they are returned within the Holiday Extended time period and they do not fall into Return Policy Exceptions category. Please be advised that we do reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% under certain circumstances. For your protection, items must be returned shipping prepaid, insured for the full value, and safely wrapped to prevent shipping damage. All charges related to the return of items to OpticsPlanet, Inc. are the responsibility of the customer. If your order was damaged in transit, we will be glad to offer you a replacement or a refund in the form of the original payment method. Please note, in case of shipping damage, an insurance claim has to be finalized by the carrier before we are able to issue compensation or product replacement. We recommend you to inspect the merchandise immediately upon delivery before the carrier leaves. If you detect visible physical damage or missing items, refuse the package. If you accepted the package, contact us immediately within 3 business days if damage has been detected. Items with manufacturing defects must be sent directly to the specific manufacturer in accordance with the Warranty terms. 2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
